Hot Tub, Sauna, Game Room! Massanutten Resort Home

It had been far too long since we gathered as a family. The house was perfect for our multi generational gathering. There were plenty of places for small groups to hang out and relax. We were very impressed with the quality of the cookware, bowls and utensils, all perfect for the large volume of cooking we did. The location was perfect for heading to the many things to do around town. Consensus is that we would absolutely come back to this lovely home.

Perfect location to the slopes and water park, perfect sized home to get alone time and family time. First rental I’ve ever had with so many amenities in the home. Little things like have a spice rack in the kitchen so nice when cooking a meal. Would recommend to all.

The house was perfect with enough room to accommodate all 14 of us! No complaints, the setup was great for multiple families and was very convenient to enjoy the massanutten resort.

We had a great time! The location was amazing and the atmosphere was festive because we were all together! Everything was as listed in the description…truly awesome! No complaints…wish we could have stayed longer.

It's a great house that can accommodate 14 of us. Clean and comfortable. The location is excellent; it's the ideal getaway from the city.

This home is incredible and perfect for a large group! The beds were comfortable and there were extra blankets if needed. We enjoyed everything the home had to offer including the proximity to a few breweries and hiking trails. Check-in/out process was very easy. Overall our stay was 4.5/5 stars! We’d love to give it the full 5 but we noticed a couple of areas of improvement: -check-in/out times: early evening check-in with mid morning check-out made it feel like we paid for a whole day that we weren’t able to be in the house. There was an option to request different times but we didn’t realize it until it would have been too short of notice. -trash: there is no on-site trash. You have to drive it 3 miles to the community trash center. Luckily one of our vehicles had a cargo mat to prevent any big messes from ruining the car. -drinking water: there is no fridge water dispenser or other filtered water system (Brita, Pūr, Burke, etc) in the home. We ended up having cases of drinking water delivered. If you don’t mind drinking tap water then not an issue. On a plus, Walmart will deliver to this property. -cleanliness: the master bathroom shower had some mold and we had to wipe out the hot tub on the first use. Even knowing these things, we’d gladly stay at this home again!

Such an amazing time and location. The location/layout of this home is perfect, and is true to form for how it looks on the website/pictures. I will say, we had a few minor issues, from hot tub water not being warm/hot enough, window security, but our Property Manager (Julie) was on top of it all, and VERY responsive to our concerns. Everyone in our group loved the home, and thought it was perfect for what we needed it for, relaxation. I would only suggest that the owners pay a little more attention to detail, specifically when repairing/cleaning of the home, we found a few windows that were broken/loose, which made it difficult to open/close for fresh air. Also being in the woods, Pest control wasn't too bad, but there were some pretty large spiders throughout the location, mainly in the game room area. But overall, we loved the location, and would definitely rent/refer this home again.

We are a family of 5 who vacations in Massanutten each fall. This was our first time in this home, but we loved it! From all the activities to keep my teens occupied to the spacious indoor spaces that allowed us fo find some “me” time to the lovely rockers out front where I drank my morning coffee, it was super comfortable and pleasant. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe and we hope to return soon! Highly recommend this property!

Spent a long weekend with family and enjoyed our stay very much. House was very roomy and furnished very comfortably. Inside spaces were all very clean and easy to enjoy. The area is beautiful although I can’t imagine winter driving in the mountains. Would definitely stay here again

Our group consisted of adults, teens and pre-teens and this house accommodated us all. The house was exactly as described. The rooms were large and well appointed. Even when we all gathered to watch movies, there was plenty room for everyone. Our group has never stayed in a house where there were extra beds! The television in the game room was persnickety, but with all the games provided, no one missed it. I was surprised to see that the only access to the game room is through the garage, but even that turned out to be a plus when you add noisy teens to the mix. If I have to have a bone of contention, it is that there are no pitchers in the kitchen, not one. The property manager and the owner were both considerate and prompt when called; it makes a difference. All things considered, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely be looking to return to this house.

This is a perfect the house to gather with friends or family. It's very spacious, close proximity to everything and has plenty to do on property to keep people entertained. I would recommend my this house in a heartbeat.

The property was really nice and spacious! It accommodated my entire family of 14 and did not feel cramped. We enjoyed all of the amenities and activities Massunutten had to offer. We saw a few ants when we arrived and had issues with the tv. We called the property manager Julie and she was out there asap to take care of it. She was very attentive and professional. I would definitely recommend this property!

The home location was very nice. The house had a really nice game room with it's own frig. Did use the hot tub and corn hole. We did enjoy this home and would like to come back again.

House was perfect for our stay with the family and the property manager was on the spot with questions and some minor issues. Second floor HVAC was not working one morning, contacted Julie and repairman was knocking on the door within the hour. Grill, front porch and master shower door could of used additional cleaning. Some ants were observed in the master bath. None of which affected our stay at the house.

We loved staying at this property. A great home for our family to spend some time together and lots to do in the area!

14 of us stayed here. It was comfortable and clean. The check in process was easy and the property manager was easy to reach and responded quickly. Beautiful property in a beautiful neighborhood. It was wonderful and my whole family was impressed with the space.
