We really enjoyed this property and so did the kids! We used the fire pit every night to roast s’mores and the kids loved visiting the horses every day. It was a solid location and felt remote enough for the peace and quiet but was also 15 minutes away from everything we wanted to do. The property manager was great and left tons of helpful tips on things to do in the area like the brewery around the corner where our kids ran around while we had a beer. Altogether an excellent stay and property!!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful from start to finish! Frank personally welcomed us to his quaint home and provided an informative tour of things we needed to know. Every detail was thoughtfully considered—from the comfortable beds and high-quality linens and spa robes to the fully equipped kitchen and cozy living spaces. Perfect for our group of 7 adults. The location was ideal, offering both convenience and a peaceful atmosphere. We especially loved enjoying the beautiful mountain views from the porch and the relaxing hot tub while also enjoying the outdoor fireplace at the same time. We also enjoyed feeding the donkeys and horses on the hobby farm. The host was exceptional—friendly, responsive, and genuinely committed to making sure we had a great experience. Communication was smooth and helpful throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our family birthdays, and would definitely return in the future. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, stress-free, and memorable mountain getaway!

I will definitely come back and bring family and plan another girls getaway. Frank has thought of everything and is an incredible host with the best house/property I have ever stayed at! I hear spring is even more beautiful with the flowers in bloom. I cant wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Communnication prior to arrival and during was easy. Frank met me when I arrived and personally walked me through everything, which made me feel very welcome right away. When I mentioned how much I loved the wood floors, he shared the history behind many of the handmade furniture pieces in the home. It really made me appreciate the care and loving touches that went into creating such a special vacation rental.The size of the house ended up being perfect once the rest of my group arrived—five adults and two children. There were plenty of amenities both inside and outside, and everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up. The location was beautiful, quiet, and very private, which made it easy to relax and unwind. One of the highlights for both the adults and kids was being able to feed the donkeys and horses.I truly enjoyed my stay and hope to come back again, especially during peak fall colors. Highly recommend!

Beautiful wood, very clean, so much space. Teens had a lot of fun in the basement. We loved the setting, beautiful views, very friendly host. We enjoyed the fresh eggs and feeding the horses. Would definitely stay here again!

Worked perfectly for our girls weekend.

A work retreat for my Office Managers and they had a wonderful time. We had planned a day in Asheville, but everyone loved house so much, we just spent the day relaxing and having fun together there.

Our House was the perfect place for our Book Club getaway! There are 7 of us from all over North America who get together 2x each year. I live in Asheville, however, my home is not large enough to accommodate all of us, so we found this beautiful property and it was great! We spent our days exploring the beauty and fun of Asheville and evenings enjoying the amenities of this rental home. We love to cook and the kitchen was well equipped. The dining room table was comfortable and there was plenty of room for all of us. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of towels and even cozy bathrobes for each of us! We loved having the hot tub and outdoor fireplace as another place to relax and enjoy. We all highly recommend Our House as the perfect Asheville area destination for a large group. The house can easily accommodate more people than we had. The hosts were very helpful too. Overall, it was a perfect getaway!

We stayed at this lovely property for a family get together with our three adult daughters and their partners, Photos don’t do it credit - it appeared much larger and equipped than expected. Owner met us on arrival to provide detailed info on property and surrounding area which was really welcoming. Easy access to airport, Biltmore and many surrounding towns and trails. If you stay on site you can enjoy the hot tub, fire pit and friendly animals- who love carrots! Definitely would recommend a stay here.

Our House was a wonderful place for a girls weekend getaway. It had everything we needed, including horses, donkeys, and a goat that we enjoyed feeding carrots to :) Frank was very accommodating and informative about the area as well as a great host, and would definitely recommend.

We chose this property for 3 siblings and spouses to celebrate our 60th wedding anniversaries together. Our Fairview mountain retreat provided the perfect venue to quietly celebrate, visit and enjoy the mountain splendor in perfect weather and season! Our host was informative, accommodating and attentive to our requests. The koi pond and barn animals were great on-site attractions complementing the comfortable amenities of our mountain retreat!

We had a great stay here over the weekend. The cabin was spacious with lots of amenities, the host was very friendly, and the kids loved being able to feed the farm animals.

Our family of five enjoyed this home and wish we could’ve extended our stay. The house had everything we needed from basic amenities to entertainment! We’ll definitely be back!

We found “Our House” even more wonderful in person than the online photos. The owner, Frank, gave suggestions as to great eateries and other area highlights. Perfect views, well stocked kitchen (with a generous supply of eggs included), roomy interior and porch spaces to gather made for a perfect trip for our group. The barnyard animals were a crowd favorite…we all want to make a return trip!

This place exceeded our expectations. The “Our House” property (one of many owned by the owner) is actually in a beautiful private neighborhood with its own small family animal farm. Our daughter, including all the adults in our family, loved feeding carrots to the adorable donkeys and other animals. I was impressed at how well maintained and well appointed the home was with everything that I could need. A highlight of the home was the outdoor hot tub and game room with pool table and foosball table. An unexpected surprise was also the rich history and antiques throughout the house. The overall experience was 10/10.

Perfect stay for our large family of 8 with a mix of children, teens and adults. Everything you need is there including eggs and firewood! We brought our groceries and never left. Played games and enjoyed our family time. Nice view even got a little snow. Ample space with comfortable bedding. Will be back!

Perfect place to spend a cozy Christmas. Plenty of room for everyone! Played games, watched movies, enjoyed the hot tub by the outdoor fireplace. Loved visiting the animals on the farm. The house was decorated for the Holiday which was such a nice touch. Frank was full of great recommendations for places to visit. We will definitely be back.

We wanted a short (4 night) get away. This was the spot! Quick local access to restaurants and a short drive to downtown Ashville.

We could not have had a safer place to stay on Asheville during Hurricane Helene or a more hospitable host. We look forward to coming back.

Group of 7 stayed here for a golf week. Perfect proximity to some of the best golf in the area. Great amount of room for everyone. Host was very communicative and responsive to any of our questions. Would definitely stay here again.

This was an incredible property - absolutely perfect for a vacation to Asheville. The owners were friendly and committed to helping us feel comfortable and welcome. The farm eggs were delicious and a few in our party had massages that Frank arranged! The location was great - an easy 15 minutes to Asheville and 10 min to the Blueridge Parkway. We would absolutely stay here again!.

This house easily accommodated young and old. We had a great week of relaxation and loved the packet put together with the recommendations. Everyone enjoyed feeding the animals and fish, and it was especially memorable for the kids. The location was a perfect distance from Asheville that allowed for us to have a quiet place to relax and make memories as a family.
