Stayed Nov 25, 2025My party of 14 stayed at Todd’s over Thanksgiving. The adults enjoyed the 3 bedrooms and the kids loved the game/rec room with the Murphy beds and games. The ropes/obstacle course in the basement is really neat—but I agree with other reviews that it’s best for younger kids. We liked the hot tub and fire pit area. Todd was very responsive before and during our stay.

Stayed Nov 14, 2025We had a fantastic stay at Todd’s place, and our host was very attentive. The house is truly exceptional for families with young children; the indoor playground and large game room kept our kids entertained for hours, especially with the cold, rainy weather. The layout is extremely thoughtful: spacious bedrooms, plenty of open play space, and a secure, coded door at the stairs that gave us real peace of mind. South Bend turned out to be a perfect halfway meeting spot for my sister and me, and this home made the trip even better. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and clearly designed with families in mind. We would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend.

Stayed Sep 12, 20254stars b/c great communication with host. Gave us early checkin (although we couldn't utilize it) and an hour late check out. Otherwise would've been less stars. Unfortunately the gym is only for VERY small children. Our kids, ages 5, 7, 9, 11 were all WAY WAY too big for it. We picked this property b/c of the gym. The second bathroom with a shower only, really, is not useable. The one adult that used the shower, (under 200lbs and under 5'9) had to step out of shower to use the soap b/c shower is sooo small. It's big enough for shower-head and that's it. Kitchen isn't well stocked.

The Escape Room Game was a fun challenge and there were nice added details throughout the home. The host was very helpful and responsive when we had questions. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Stayed Jan 21, 2025The house provided a nice place for us to relax with our kids for a few days. The younger ones (10 and down) enjoyed the basement play ground and everyone loved the hot tub. While the whole place was a little outdated, it was definitely clean and comfortable. Thanks Todd!

Stayed Jan 3, 2025This weekend away was part of a Christmas Present that we gave to our grandchildren and their parents. We looked for someplace that specifically had a hot tub, but found a whole lot more with this location! There was something for everyone including the adults. The game room is outstanding and had pool, ping pong, darts, Nintendo, and a large TV for movies or just gaming. The basement playground was a hit with the younger kids , and all of them, loved the infinity game board and spent hours playing it. The back yard has an amazing firepit area ( we did not build a fire) but there was wood provided if we wanted to. All of us enjoyed soaking in the hot tub which was nice and warm and we had a beautiful atmosphere of snowflakes falling around us. We absolutely loved this rental! Anything and everything you might want or need was provided here. Communication with the host was top notch and check in and out process was very easy. They also supplied a guidebook prior to the stay that was very helpful in planning and also explained in detail all amenities at the house and how they worked. We highly recommend this property if you are looking for lots of fun and making long lasting memories!!

Stayed Sep 27, 2024The outside features were awesome. Great spot to sip drinks and catch up with friends. The inside of the house was cozy but oldish. Everything was clean. Smaller bathroom shower is only usable by small people. Very small. An overall decent spot for the small amount of time spent at the house.

Stayed Aug 30, 2024This vacation with my family was perfect! The jungle gym was so much fun. All of my grandkids enjoyed it. Even the 6 month old enjoyed the swing. The back patio was perfect. Actually had our family photos taken in the back yard (owner permission of course). The rest of the house was nice too. Plenty of room. Every thing was functional. The road out front is a busy one but it didn’t seem like it while sitting inside or out back. 5 of my grandkids and I played and had a dance party on the last morning in the jungle gym while all the other adults cleaned up.

Stayed Aug 16, 2024We had a relaxing stay. It was nice to be close to shopping and restaurants. The hot tub was wonderful and we enjoyed utilizing the game room. The house was comfortable as were the beds. It is on quite a busy street so, as you would expect, there was some traffic noise but it didn’t take away from our stay.

Stayed Aug 20, 2024The property was perfect for our needs. We came to South Bend to drop our youngest off at Notre Dame. We took just shy of a weeks stay and used the home as home base for organizing college gear, shopping, and touring her new home for the next 5 years. (Architecture professional degree). For us we spent much time in the game room. Playing games, darts or pool. It was so well stocked. After the long days of family activities we used the hot tub to relax our aching muscles from 20000+ steps a day. This home worked perfectly for us and in all actuality we could have shared it with her roommates family and had plenty of space. Our kids wished they were younger as the playspace in the basement was so cute! Now i know however when cousins want to visit her a place to reccomend. Host communication was exemplary often within minutes we got responses to questions. I would highly recommend this home.
