Stayed Feb 5, 2026House is as advertised. The only issue for us was the snow, there was a lot of it. When we got there, the stairs were high with snow and it was hard to get in the house. The host was helpful and had the snow cleared the next morning. Also finding parking was a challenge, because of the snow too. I would stay here again, the house is perfect, clean and well stocked.

Stayed Oct 31, 2025We enjoyed our stay. The house was comfortable. The weird thing was entering the King BR to enter the upstairs guest room that has daybed/pullout. Additionally, if you don’t like a firm mattress, this may not be the place for you. Beds are nice but very firm. Shower pressure was great! Back porch area could use a good cleaning. Grill has buildup and moldy cushions on furniture. Parking is tight but it works out. Easy to get places. 10 minutes get you just about anywhere! Would definitely stay again.

Stayed Aug 17, 2025Troy Hill is an interesting older area with great views of Pittsburgh. It was quiet and it felt safe and friendly. Our very minor concerns were with a neighbor smoking cigarettes occasionally, the kitchen floor which has some damage to the laminate that's a little sharp, and having to learn the hard way that wearing socks on old carpeted stairs can lead to tumbling down them. But all of us loved the spacious modern feel of the house, the convenience to all the fun stuff we wanted to do, walking around the neighborhood (and all those long stairways), and the friendliness of everyone in the neighborhood and Pittsburgh itself. We had high hopes for the whole trip and it all exceeded our expectations. Teens are age 13 and 19 and they were happy the whole time, not an easy thing to accomplish. Pittsburgh was a lot of fun! Loved the Aviary, Warhol Museum, Phipps Conservatory, Carnegie museums, the funicular and boat tour, driving up Rialto Street (yikes!!!), all the food options and interesting neighborhoods. And our day trip to Fallingwater was amazing, what a beautiful place. We would come back, and stay here, again.

Stayed Jul 23, 2025We were leery of the area when we arrived at night, but stayed for 4 days and it was fine. The place was small, but nice. Kitchen had everything you needed. There was an upstairs with a bathroom and 2 bedroom. Attic was an additional room with a small bed/couch and foosball table. Downstairs had a pac man arcade, couch, tv, couple chairs, and a table near the front door. Also another toilet room with sink. Cozy place. Washer and Dryer in basement.

Stayed Aug 3, 2025This house was exactly what we needed for our family trip to Pittsburgh! It was really spacious, very well maintained, and in a safe, quiet neighborhood. So much charm packed into this townhouse! Bonus perk was the back patio. We enjoyed breakfast there each morning!

Stayed Jun 27, 2025Visited The Burgh for a Pirates game and this home was a perfect overnight spot for us. Close to the ballpark, neat & tidy, with comfy beds. What more could you ask for? While parking is tight on the street, it appears that everyone in the neighborhood is courteous and works together to maximize parking opportunities. Easy communication with host made the process seamless.

Stayed Mar 28, 2025Pros: Not far from the college we were visit. Townhouse is a vast contrast to the neighborhood. Unit was clean and had what we needed for the night. Good rest with comfortable beds and temperature. Beautiful aesthetics and design choices. Cons: Although half of our party took showers the night before and the other half the day of departure one hour apart, I ended up taking a cold shower at 7 am to start my day, which really upset me in the start of an important day. Also the kitchen floors were damaged prior to our arrival but I didn't feel it was unsafe to walk on. Parking is horrible. We had a Grand Wagoneer and had to gingerly drive down a VERY narrow street. In the evening when we returned we did have to park down the street and around the corner. There may be parking on the weekdays but the weekends was definitely a challenge. Lastly, the orange cushion sleeping area in the attic seemed much larger online but in reality it fits for a toddler or small child rather than a large teenager or adult. Overall: the stay met our needs for one night but I wouldn't have stayed longer. The host was pretty responsive except for the water (which that was early so I get it). He responded afterwards.Once they fix those few issues it would be a good stay.
