Loved the quiet country setting. Could see our horses from 3 different rooms in the home. Beautiful view of the mountains.
My husband and two dogs stayed here for two weeks in late October, 2023. The property was as advertised and very clean and adorable. Beds were very comfortable. Beautiful views and a lovely back porch to enjoy them from. Very convenient to the Tryon equestrian park which was the reason for our visit. My only complaint was the property management company. I did not find them friendly or accommodating.
Beautiful home and what a view! We absolutely loved it.
We had a wonderful relaxing week with our dogs. Beautiful area and sunsets.
The photos don't come close to the stunning, expansive views. If you want to get away, unplug and reconnect with family and nature, this is the perfect location. The road is very walkable and there are plenty of hiking trails around the area perfect for every level. The home is super clean and comfortable. We ended up cooking quite a bit, and needed to buy a couple of extra knives and cooking utensils, but otherwise, the home is well appointed. The Amish bakery is great, and so is the bakery in Tryon, which is extremely reasonably priced. It brought my mom back to her youth growing up on a farm with horses, and my dad back to his younger days, too. The dog absolutely loved going for walks, meeting the horses, sniffing the yard, and sun bathing. We explored Rutherfordton where I met up with a dear college friend, got a few things at Enchantments, and we explored SC quite a bit as welll. There is enough to do if you want to stay busy, but provides quality downtime for times you just want to tune out and relax.
Great place to stay. All parts of the stay were easy and communication with the manager were efficient.
We really enjoyed our stay at Horseshoe Hill. It is even cuter than it appears in the listing. It was spotlessly clean and the fenced in backyard was fabulous. The drive to TIEC is quick and easy and there's a great grocery store 10 minutes away too. We would 100% book again.
Our family stayed for 1 week in June and we all loved our time at the house, especially on the back porch and in the back yard. Morning coffee and evening drinks with a view of the mountains in a distance was lovely. Watching the dog chase fireflies in the huge yard and our daughter fall in love with the horses in the neighboring field filled our soul cups! The place was clean (and I'm pretty picky). Kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. Lots to do within a 30-ish minute drive and TIEC was just 10 mins away. Thanks for sharing your beautiful and quiet slice of NC joy with us. We look forward to returning again!
We were in the area to do water work with our PWD. The fenced in area is a dog owner’s delight. Our pup raced around the yard, spent many moments watching the horses and enjoying the outside. We brought our food - the supplies were plentiful, accommodations were great. Loved our visit. Going back in July.
Wonderful!
great spot. check master bath tub. it is not draining well.
We were able to bring our dogs to enjoy our weekend as our daughters competed at the Tryon International Horse Show. Was so wonderful to have them there with us.
The moment the dogs hit the fenced yard and ran along the fence with the horses, we knew it was going to be an awesome stay. When your doggies are happy, everyone is happy. :) We loved how clean and well appointed the house was. The beds were very comfortable. I might suggest a different shower head to make better use of the water pressure, but that's a small thing. I packed a bag of paper towels, napkins, TP, dish detergent, etc, but didn't need any of it! The house was very well supplied with everything you need except food (although they did leave a nice bottle of red wine for us, which was unexpected, but very much appreciated). The sunsets were amazing, but if you get up early enough for the sunrise, it is also quite beautiful through the trees, especially with the horses in the background. They don't currently have a gas grill (or we just couldn't find it), but the kitchen was so well appointed, the lack of grill was not a. problem. There was a corn-hole game we took advantage of. And, as I mentioned, the dogs had a blast taking in the horses on the other side of the fence. We are not horse people, but the horses were a beautiful sight! This part of the state is quite amazing. It really is horse country :)
House is small but cute. Excellent location and everything in working order. Description said there was a grill but we didn't find it. No big deal just had to change meal plans. Would definitely stay again!
Beautiful VIEW!!
We loved this property. Great location, views and nice clean house. The back yard is perfect for pets as it’s dog proof and large for them to run around! You won’t be disappointed with this stay!
Loved this location, stayed there in 2021 and again in 2022.
