Horseshoe Acres - Home theater, spa room, hot tub

Everything was as it is listed! The hot tub was ready for us and the host was quick to respond with any questions! We had a wonderful time staying here!!!!!

We really enjoyed our time at Horseshoe Acres! It was a quick drive to everywhere we wanted to go but felt secluded. Lots of amenities. Attentive host.

We had a very hot week, so hiking and biking took place in the morning. Afternoons were spent with some sightseeing and a lot of time in our vacation house. There was so much to do there. The theater room and the game room were a definite hit with both kids and adults. Outdoors some of our group used the hot tub, corn hole and the s’mores around the fire pit. There is a basketball goal and a big yard for bubbles and running around. After an active day the sauna and jet tub gave comfort. The kitchen was well stocked with most of the tools necessary. Bring your crockpot and a large mixing bowl if you need them. We have stayed in a lot of vacation homes, but I have never found one where so much was provided. Owners were friendly and accessible when needed. Location was very quiet and easy to get to. We would return for sure. Extremely clean.

Horseshoe Acres was great! There was plenty of room for our family (6 adults & 3 teenagers), and every room was immaculately clean. The long tables inside and on the deck allowed for meals, games, and conversation, and the theatre, popcorn machine, hot tub, and yard, were hits for our group. Although we did not use the fire pit, grill, or sauna, it was nice to have them available. Oak Hill’s proximity to the New River Gorge and Welcome Center, river and bridge, UTV tour, Grandview, Tammarack, and small towns like Fayetteville and Thurmond, offered the right combination of very active to sedate activities for our group that ranged in age from 11 to 71. Darien, the owner, was extremely responsive any time there was a question, whether before we arrived or during our visit. If we return to the area, we definitely would stay here again! Without reservation, I highly recommend the property!

Great place to stay near the Gorge. Supplied all the essentials and then some and the hot tub, sauna and fire pit were all a nice bonus.

Plenty of room and activities to entertain all ages.

Property was wonderful for our rainy weather. Roomy living space, fun extras like theater room and games. Enough beds to sleep 12. Big back yard that we didn't get to enjoy.

This was the absolute perfect property for our family’s Christmas vacation. Lots of space and activities for the kids and plenty of relaxation options for the parents. Darien is an incredible host who was always easy to get ahold of whenever necessary. 10/10.

The house is lovely with lots of upgraded amenities. Very well stocked with items to make you feel at home. Our group loved the outdoor space, including the hot tub, and indoors the kids loved the theater room and game area.

Beautiful and relaxing! The king bed in the master was comfortable and the bathroom shower was amazing! The spa room is a unique and comforting touch to our stay. We hiked during the day and watched movies in the evening in the theater room. Location was beautiful, nestled in a wooded area. Very beautiful home!
