Stayed Oct 27, 2025Everything was clean, cozy, and comfortable! My only suggestion would be handholds in the tub/shower and maybe a little railing on the two steps.

Stayed Sep 19, 2025Katie was a great host. If you are looking for quiet trip to decompress from life or the city - this is the place. All the accommodations are there and we were close to Starved Rock for our hiking adventure.

Stayed Jul 9, 2025This place has a lot of character! The amenities and decorations were really nice. Unfortunately, there were a lot of spiders throughout the entire home and in the cupboards and cabinets.

Stayed May 30, 2025This was such a fun place! The horses and cats are so fun to watch, and there’s so much wildlife around. Very peaceful to sit around the fire pit after a day of hiking/kayaking. The house is nice and decorated beautifully too. Lovely place overall!!

Stayed Nov 29, 2024Short drive into town! Having a full kitchen is nice, and lots of tables and spaces to hang out, play games, and a tv in the living room. The beds were a bit squeaky but comfortable. If the lights are off, be aware that there are steps from the side door up to the kitchen where the switch is! Cozy and private, which was just what we were looking for.

Stayed Sep 27, 2024Just stayed two nights for the Scarecrow Festival. It’s very quiet property, close to downtown. It’s an older home but it was comfortable. Good strong water pressure in the shower.
