Stayed Feb 15, 2024My sisters & I loved our stay at Hoot Owl Ranch. The property is up in the hills above Yucca Valley/J Tree town - it feels far away but very quick to get to town for groceries, dining, etc. Great views, especially from the hot tub - perfect after a day of hiking in J Tree Natl Park. Jared was very responsive to our questions and very helpful with local info on dining, etc. We will be back - thanks, Jared!

Stayed Apr 3, 2023This home is beautiful, inside and out. Everything inside is incredible, the high ceilings make it feel very spacious and the way the home is laid out, our family of 4 all felt like we had our own space without always being on top of each other. The furniture and beds were very comfortable and the hot tub was a big plus since we were visiting in cooler weather. This is a very special home and we felt grateful to be able to stay here.

Stayed Mar 28, 2023Phenomenal. Stunning. Like living in a dream. What Jared has done with Hoot Owl Ranch is true artistry. As if the landscape in Yucca Valley/Joshua Tree wasn't breathtaking enough, this property takes the desert experience to the next level. The light in the home is incredible, the furniture is both beautiful and comfortable, the location is fantastic, and the property is just the perfect combination of warmth + modern + nature. The only possible complaint is the disappointment of drawing the short straw for who gets to stay in the primary bedroom. I guess this only means we have to come back to have our turn. Thanks for the incredible stay, Jared!
