HONEYSUCKLE BLUE 6-min walk to beach - a retreat in Pointe West, Galveston

Honeysuckle Blue is 5 star all the way. The home is beautiful and Nell and Chris have thought of everything. We rent a lot of different homes with our kids and grandkids from Galveston to Florida , Oklahoma and Hawaii and I can truly say this home had more amenities than any. The kitchen was full of supplies , there were beach toys and chairs, comfy beds and nice toiletries to dog toys and doggy shampoo. We highly recommend this beautiful home and the pointe west area is beautiful. We will definitely be back.

All the amenities of home added extra touches. Beautiful location, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and plenty of space. Easy walk to watch the sunrise and head out to the back patio to watch the sunset.

Owner was a pleasure to work with- Home has everything you need, The shuffleboard in the living room became a nightly ritual, a fun game to have conversation around while enjoying our adult kids.

My family has stayed in Pointe West Galveston several times and we love it! Honeysuckle Blue is an amazing property and wonderful house. There is attention to absolutely every detail - extensive kitchen utensils, house supplies for just about anything you’d need, plenty of blankets and pillows, wagon and plenty of beach chairs and beach towels - even dog toys and dog towels! The beds are very comfortable, the four full bathrooms are beautiful and spacious, and we loved the large living area with the huge couch, large dining table, and even a shuffleboard game. We had an issue with one of the bed frames and they had a handyman out within an hour to fix it! Every detail is considered and everything is in perfect working order. Our party of 9 had plenty of space and everyone loved this property. I highly recommend Honeysuckle Blue!!

VRBO messed up several things throughout the process. However, Nell was excellent to deal with. The entire experience dealing with her has been phenomenal. Extremely communicative. We were headed there during a potential hurricane which turned out to be a mild storm. The news had us freaked out, but Nell sent pictures and information that kept us calm, we came out and had a wonderful time. The house was clean and comfortable with plenty of amenities to entertain. The location was great. The mosquitos were horrendous, but to no fault of the owners. They were everywhere in Galveston at this time of the year. The beach was clean and nearly private. No large roudy groups of people, just family friendly fun. Would highly recommend this house to anyone.

Enjoyed our 2nd trip to Pointe West and survived Tropical storm Alberto in comfort. We rode out the storm with wifi and board games. When the sun came out, we walked the 5 min hike to the beach and relaxed at the other amenities. House was fully stocked for a chef’s dream and we never had to leave. Highly recommend for large groups and families with kids!
