We had a really nice stay at this place. Very clean, communication was good and location was perfect. Even better than the pictures.

We had such a wonderful relaxing time here, that we cannot recommend it enough. The pictures really don't do the glorious location justice and it is much better in real life. The accommodation was clean and easy to care for. It has everything you would need and there is a supermarket just across the road for supplies, which we found very useful. It was an excellent point to start from for exploring the area and we found Marans, La Rochelle and the local water park of O'Gliss all very enjoyable day trips. When you are not exploring the local area it is a very relaxing place to just chill out and enjoy the pool or a walk along the fields and canals nearby. We saw hares, hoopoes and egrets to name a few. The sunsets are amazing. It was by far the best and most relaxing holiday we have ever had. Our hosts could not have been more friendly and kind and accommodating. They respected our privacy and we respected theirs, but they were also there to help with anything and also to ensure that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back! We can't recommend this holiday home / gite enough!

A beautiful, clean, comfortable and inviting property. The setting was superb. The pool beautiful and everything exceptionally spotless. The hosts were amazing, very welcoming and hospitable. A wonderful stay.

The property and swimming pool were spotlessly clean, the kitchen was very well equipped and the bathroom and shower rooms recently decorated to a high standard, with exceptional plumbing and modern design. I thoroughly recommend this property for a peaceful family getaway. I was accompanied by two of my children on this trip but plan a return with my husband, as this property works perfectly for a couples retreat also. Thank you Nathalie for a wonderful stay.

we had an excellent week with Olivier and Nathalie who were friendly and understanding. the gite was the only one on the site and was connected to the hosts main house. we shared a pool with the hosts and were able to have swim every day. the gite was advertised for up to 5 persons but there was only two of us so loads of space. nice big rooms (for 2) and a decent fridge and freezer. great location for exploring Niort and La Rochelle plus the local area
