Stayed Nov 23, 2024Our family of seven (five adults and two children) had a wonderful stay at Jack’s Shack. The cabin is perfectly situated right on the river, offering a serene and peaceful atmosphere. It’s located in the charming town of Townsend, TN—truly the “peaceful side of the Smokies.” One of my favorite moments was enjoying my morning coffee while sitting on the rocks near the river, surrounded by quiet and natural beauty. The cabin was spacious and comfortable, fitting our group perfectly. It’s also conveniently just minutes away from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and only a 17-minute drive to Cades Cove. We loved our time here and will definitely be returning for another stay!

Stayed Oct 10, 2024Recommend direct booking with lister. No response to my VRBO booking or questions submitted via the app so I ended up calling the lister directly to get instructions for check in. Office was kind and helpful when I initially called. Listing mostly as described, beautiful and walkable property within 20 min drive to cades cove. Important to know you have to drive garbage to their rental office. Only property issues were tv in master didnt work and neither did washing machine. Things happen but I expected a solution when reporting the issue. Perhaps a backup location to wash clothes as this is a cabin rental company. We were also surprused to get letter upon check in they were aware of wasp.didnte.hdissapointent
