Really enjoyed the historical story behind the Yellow House on my first trip to Warroad for boys high school hockey. Close to everything.
A great place to relax and take in some history. The location can't be beat.
What a great weekend with the boys at Doc’s. Amazing house on the river with many historic docs and items. We spent many hours by the riverside fire catching up.
Very nice old home in good shape. Great location and super host’s. Very accommodating.
Step back in time. Great location.
Doc's Harbor Inn is a classic over 100 year old home with many interesting items from its history to read, view or use. The home is close to downtown shopping and restaurants. Be prepared for steep steps, a few floor squeeks and washing dishes in a sink and you can appreciate the beauty of this home. The beds were very comfortable and we had an enjoyable stay at Docs.
We had a great time at Doc's. When we first arrived, the kids referred to it as a museum. Lots of history along with all the amenities one would need to stay comfortably. We loved that it was right on the river and within walking distance to anything in town. Thank you for having us!
We stayed in this house while ice fishing on Lake of the Woods. It’s a perfect place for a group to stay with large bedrooms and plenty of space. We’ll be back next year!
We had a wonderful time in Warroad. Staying at Doc’s Harbor was the icing on the cake! We loved it! Cozy and oozing with charm. What a lovely place. Had everything we needed. Comfortable and relaxing. Will absolutely stay again! Easy to stay and communication with owners was super easy too! Hoping to experience it in the summer too. But staying during the winter was dreamy. Like something out of an old fashioned postcard.
We had an outstanding time at Docs. It was part of a weekend hockey trip with college friends. The facility was just what we were looking for, the hosts were very helpful and being on the lake/river added to the fun. Would strongly recommend staying at Docs!!
Perfect from start to finish. Check-in and check-out seamless. Owners were accessible and so helpful and friendly. Location was very convenient. Right on a skate path. It was our first trip to Warroad and could not have asked for a better experience. Beautiful well-equipped house. Enough room for the entire family to relax and recharge. A fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare family meals. The bed were very comfortable. We will definitely be returning.
Loved the activities close by in the town
Our family had a wonderful tike at Doc’s. It was the perfect place to host a family gathering. It was a great starting and ending place to our days as we ventured about enjoying the bike paths, parks, and community. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans and baking pans. So we were able to prepare meals for crew easily. The house is very true to the period and in excellent shape for being over 100 years old. Front porch facing the river was a high light!
The location of the property met our needs for visiting the most Northern Point in continental United States. One of the locations on my bucket list. We hiked in Hayes Lake State Park; hiking path is smooth and easy. If you are interested in kayaking or canoeing, the owner has them available to rent. The river in front of the house appeared to be calm and easy to paddle. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch reading my book. One word of caution, the property is close to the railroad tracks.
Our group of 9 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The beds are super comfy. Everything we needed was provided and resupplied promptly. The Warroad residents we met are very friendly. We would visit again.
