Holiday paradise with pool

A home from home. Fabulously equipped. Fantastic large villa. Great pool. Great location. Pool house not advertised but also great; it has a pull out bed, small kitchen and lounge area and large shower/toilet - perfect for couple or teenagers. Cannot fault this place ( watch out for daytime mosquitoes though).

The property is in a nice, quiet, residential position and the pool is clean and cared for. Walking distance to the town and beach made it easy for us. The garden is small but pretty and fairly private given the house position. Having someone to meet us would have been a nice touch, or even someone checking in during the stay or when leaving. We had no contact with anyone. However, we managed with the lock safe. I'm sure most people wouldn't worry. The property itself has air-conditioning which was great but the kitchen and bathrooms would benefit from some updating. There is pretty much anything you want in the property including seating, pool floats, games, kitchen utensils etc. which was appreciated. Bring a hair dryer! The only negative - I would add that this is the first time in 20+ years we have stayed in a holiday rental which is used by the owners and contains all of their belongings. I personally found this a little strange and had to be mindful that some food in the freezer / wardrobe contents / personal belongings were not to be touched or used. Perhaps easy to be respectful of this arrangement as adults but I had to be very vigilant bringing children with me. Maybe this is more common than I thought, but I have not come across this arrangement before myself. Thank you for having us. You have a lovely home and we enjoyed our holiday. Annie

Beautiful place for wonderful vacation.

Just returned from a week in Manta Rota at Casa Adam. My entire group had a wonderful time and were so glad we stayed here as opposed to more populated areas further west in the Algarve. The property was beautiful and pretty much exactly as described online. The gardens are beautiful, the pool is quite refreshing and the beach is a blissful short walk away. As we did venture into some of the local towns, having a car helped. The location is very accessible to the N125 and the A22 (toll road) to move about. But for a beach holiday, this is exactly what we were looking for.

This has been our second visit to Casa Adam and the first since the pandemic. The location is ideal, just a few minutes walk from the huge sandy beach and the house is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a family holiday. To have your own swimming pool is a real bonus and we picked oranges and lemons from the garden. Manta Rota is a small village but has several bars and restaurants and a good supermarket. Recommended unreservedly.

This property had virtually everything on site to make a wonderful holiday, it hugely exceeded our expectations. Gudrun was absolutely great, a real star, answering any small query within a few minutes. The property was clean, light and airy and the pool house was a great hit. The beach is only a 10/15 minute walk away with all the equipment that you could possibly need on site at the property. Parking is excellent, undercover right by the front door. We had a great time and would definitely return. We highly recommend this property.

We stayed at Casa Adam for 10 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed it! Manta Rota has everything you want for your holiday and the beach is an easy 10 - 15 minute walk away, as are several nice restaurants. The house is on a large plot with a beautiful garden full of fruit trees and a fantastic pool which is heated by solar panels! The garden and pool are regularly maintained. The house itself is just as the photographs with everything you could possibly want provided! The beds were comfortable too! The only problem we had, which seems to be common in the area, was barking dogs but ear plugs helped! So we had a great time and hope to return for some more Portugese sun!

We spent a wonderful time in this lovely house. The property has all the facilities you might need for a relaxing vacation. At the same time it is a 10 minute walk from the manta rota beach. Nearby you can find shops, supermarket and several restaurants. Inside the property the garden gives you a feeling of being away from the busy parts of Algarve but at the same time you can quickly walk to the main street of Manta Rota and find anything you need. The communication with the owner was very good and the check in and out was very easy. We would definitely recommend this property and will try to come back soon.

The property suited our family of four adults and 2 children. The villa is well equipped- everything we needed was available ( from beach umbrellas to bbq) which we really appreciated. The only addition to improve the experience would be lights around the pool for the evening. Very close to all Manta Rotas amenities and the beach. I would highly recommend this villa for a super relaxing holiday.
