Holiday House - Forest in the Town

We had a lovey stay. In the heart of Margeret River town but still had a country feel.

House was lovely, spacious comfortable beds. Great location in terms of walk ability around to and around the main strip in Margaret River. It Would have been good to know it was part of a complex of chalets - this information seems to be hidden until you arrive. The kitchen had no cleaning supplies at all. Issue with booking system meant the cleaners were still there when we arrived well after check in time. Neighbour was very rude and made it difficult for us to park in one of our allocated bays. Otherwise great stay we enjoyed it!

The house was not very clean

Great location, very peaceful.

The location is absolutely beautiful — such a peaceful and scenic spot. However, the house could really benefit from a more thorough clean. We noticed quite a bit of dog hair on the couch and rugs, which meant we had to cover the couch before sitting down. The floors were also dirty, with sticky footprints likely left by previous guests.Unfortunately, we weren’t able to enjoy the outdoor patio area, as it hadn’t been swept or wiped down in a while, and the BBQ was too dirty for us to use. It was also a bit disappointing that the canoe/kayak listed in the amenities wasn’t available, especially as the river is so close — our kids had really been looking forward to it.The kitchen is fine for preparing simple meals or breakfasts, but might be a bit limited for guests planning to cook regularly over a longer stay.That said, the setting is truly special, and with a bit of extra attention to cleanliness and upkeep, we’d definitely love to come back!

Great host and beautiful location amongst the tree tops, convenient location to town and bush walks

Fantastic location in the forrest near the river. We loved our Winter stay. The house had everything we needed, including electric blankets - which were very much appreciated!Thank you for having us!

Thought the location was great. Enjoyed being amongst the trees upstairs. Good modern kitchen and bathrooms/showers. A bit cold downstairs. Both my wife and I found the main bed to be a little uncomfortable/lacking support.

Comfortable accommodation in a great location close to walk and bike trails and also the town shops and food

It's a lovely home in a great location.

This porperty had a homey comfortable feel about it. We were allowed to have our dog with us and there were small signs like having a dog bowl in the laundry cupboard that made us feel the dog was more than welcome.There were minor problems which we alerted the host to so they could fix them for the next tenants. The host aappeared appreciative to know what needed fixing.We would be more than happy to use this location again.

A lovely stay at Bruce's property in the heart of Margaret River- fantastic location

We loved the location, such a lovely stroll into town. Very homely with comfortable facilities and space.

Love the upstairs of the house, very welcoming and all necessities supplied.Only disappointment, the location wasn’t quite as close to town as I had thought, however lovely walk across the river to the Brewhouse- definitely recommend.

Soo tranquil

Two dear friends, my husband and self were masively impressed with the location and the very comfortable, clean holiday house and the contents. There was all that one needed to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing time out from a busy life. Just one issue and that is the parking and pathways to the front door. The parking could be made more convienient and the paths less hazardous. Thank you for a very comfortable stay, and for the ease of booking whichimpressivelyeasy.und

Property exactly as per listing. Wonderful location felt very secluded despite being minutes from Margaret River. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely home, clean and exactly as listed. Felt like we were in the middle bush even though we were only 2 min from the middle of town.

Perfect location, serene and tranquil yet still so conveniently located near the town centre. Beds and ensuite bathroom could use some updating but everything else was perfect. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and very much appreciate being able to bring our doggy. Thanks

Location was brilliant with beautiful upstairs views and good local walks. Parking was slightly awkward. The accommodation was great.

A lovely place that feels like your in the middle of nowhere - the view of the forest from the bedrooms and living area is just magic. The house has everything you need, fire, lovely lounge, fantastic kitchen and most importantly for us it was pet friendly so we could bring our best mate with us. Bruce and Liz provided all the information we required for our stay and were ver responsive in the lead up. Highly recommend - we will be back. Thank you

The gum nuts falling on the roof and car added to the fact that we weren’t, in the city. Quiet was what we enjoyed. The facilities provided were more than adequate. The location was good and afforded the chance to travel in multiple directions from a home base. It was not far from the town centre as a walk of 15 minutes got you to the main street. Loved this place and the location. Make sure you listen to and observe the entrance details..
