    Stayed May 16, 2022

Stayed here after two weeks all over Italy, mostly major cities. This was serene, quiet, picturesque, great place to recharge with coffee or limoncello on the outdoor patio. Advance communication with the hosts was brief, almost worryingly so, but it turns out that this is because they speak very little English. Maddalena made us feel right at home upon arrival, and also afterwards. The hosts live onsite and let out a few spaces within the building on their property. The first day we had to do laundry from our previous travels, and, lacking a drying rack, hung our clothes on various parts of the trellis to dry. We walked down to Vincenzo's mini market for some supplies and returned to find Maddalena had pulled out a drying rack and moved our clothes over to that more efficient apparatus. We were amazed by this kind gesture. Our last morning there she emerged to find us with coffee in hand on the patio. She asked if she could make us some, but we politely declined, showing her our coffee. Ten minutes later she came out with delicious espresso and tiny pastries. So sweet. The space itself is expertly kitted out, with modern conveniences like USB ports by the nightstands and the aforementioned washing machine. A/C was available and worked perfectly. Parking was available which is important because a rental car is probably the only way to stay here. Everything is clean and well kept here and we found ourselves wishing for more time to stay and enjoy the area. Highest possible recommendation.
