Hocking Hills-Dog friendly cabin with private pond .. adults 18 and older

This is a perfect getaway for two! Such a cute little cabin. Leslie let us check in an hour earlier! You can fish on the pond or use the paddle boat. We used the grill one night and the propane was provided! Their was some games there we enjoyed for the weekend after our hikes. Unfortunately didn’t bring the pup, but when I come back best believe he will be with me. Perfect property for your fur babies as well.

Very clean and quiet place to relax. Hot tub was great. Simple check in/out process.

Great little cabin, just right for the 2 of us with our small dog. Place was clean and well stocked with kitchen gear, towels, bedding, etc. Check in was seamless.

Very pet friendly. Didn’t goto winery. Used kitchen to make breakfast. Would bring my own pans the ones there are very old and scratched. Got tub was wonderful!!

The cabin was very quiet and clean. Due to the cold weather and snow we did not get to take advantage of the beautiful trails for hiking or the hot tub. I would love to come back in the spring or summer. Bring our dog with us next time. Thanks for a wonderful peaceful stay.

Loved everything about it!

We loved this unit!! Everything was wonderful, clean and comfortable and well-stocked! Host stopped by and brought dry firewood and blew off the leaves. Wonderful experience and would do it again!

Hot tub was nice. Property was well kept. Looks newer. Will stay again. Bring a fishing pole!

The cabin was great! So cozy!

It was magical! We stayed for four nights, and loved every second of it! We brought a puzzle and put it together, we played the board games provided for us, we went hiking on the nearby trails, we baked cookies! We even got engaged on the side porch overlooking the pond!! It was such a wonderful experience through and through! Thank you so so much for giving us such a lovely place to create memories to last us a lifetime P.s. to the owner, we dipped out a little early because we missed our fur babies at home, not because we had a bad time! Thank you again for having us!

The hot tub stairs really need a railing. I made it into the hot tub with my husband's help, but it really was quite an endeavor to enter & exit.The other issue was the bed. The mattress is really uncomfortable and sags down in the middle. On 2 of our 4 nights, I got up in the middle of the night and moved to the couch because of pain & discomfort.Everything else was stellar! We love staying here with all the property offers. Thank you!

The property was beautiful and far enough away from the center of activity that we had some quiet time I was surprised that there was no door to the bathroom Also the refrigerator was full of crumbs and dog hair which I cleaned in 5 min I dropped a spoon in the side of the couch so when I picked up the cushions i found a ton of crumbs so I swept that too So other than working on my getaway we had a nice stay thank you

This cabin was absolutely adorable! Was fairly private and quiet. We had a great time and would definitely recommend to others!

The view and privacy was amazing!! We hiked, fished, had dinner by the nonfire and breakfast on the deck overlooking the absolute stunning prooerty. I would live to come back and explore more cause there is so much to take in.

Took our 5 month old golden retreiver with us this was his first trip. We absolutely loved our stay it was absolutely gorgeous and well kept up.

Overall, the property and cabin were in good shape. Everything was really clean and in good condition. It's on a really nice piece of land, huge pond, and just off the road. It's perfect for a couple looking to get away in the Hocking Hills area. If you're traveling with family or kids, the bedroom and bathroom do lack a little privacy as there is no door to either. Just walls. Wasn't a huge deal for us, but may be for others. 10/10 would stay here again.

the overlook cabin is a small and quirky little place that provides it all! very peaceful and relaxing with all the amenities of home. have booked it twice now and plan on doing so again in the future.

Cabin was nice, but the location near the road wasn't ideal. The pond was full of turtles and the fishing wasn't good at all. The trails weren't very good.

Nice little get away from people. LolKathys suggested hiking trail was awesome and my dog loved it.

it was wonderful,,it had a little bit of everything,,curved roads were exciting..peaceful...a little scary at night, fun trails, antique stores nearby, glass blowing class on main street, Art and clay shop also on Main Street you can make things and paint them, good coffee too. Highly recommend this place.

My husband and I stayed there on our mini moon and absolutely loved it! It was quiet and had a blast doing tons of fishing. The owner was so sweet and responded quickly. Highly recommend!

Staying at this cabin with the easiest access to the hot tub and pond was amazing. We are big into fishing and the outdoors, so having a stocked pond on site was awesome, even though neither of us caught anything LOL. It rained for one entire day out of our two night stay and it couldn't have been more relaxing, just lazing around the cabin listening. The furniture is super comfortable, the layout is adorable as well, perfect for couples. I'm also a nut about cleaning and tidiness, this cabin was SPOTLESS when we arrived and very inviting. Host was also very polite and helpful when I was booking our stay

My wife and I wanted a relaxing place to get away from the noise of our daily lives for a couple days. This location provided exactly that. The cabin was clean, stocked, and equipped with everything we would need. Beside the pond and in the hot tub were great places to unwind and relax.

Wow! This was an amazing place! Very clean and the host was wonderful! We loved everything anout staying here and so did our dogs. Perfect size for us and our 2 fur babiescozyand everything you need! Hiked the hocking hills trails and found the secluded RockStall(sp?) Nature preserve near by!! You cant go wrong staying here!

My husband and I wanted a little relaxing getaway not too far from home and thats exactly what we got! The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. Unfortunately it rained all weekend so we didnt use the paddle boat and couldnt fish as much as we wanted. But we went to town and visited the antique malls and some local stores. The cabin is very easy to get to and also very private. The bed was very comfy, shower pressure was great, kitchen was fully equiped for cooking meals. Perfect property! Hot tub was very relaxing. The host responds very quickly and very nice! Thank you for such an amazing experience! We will be back!

Cabin was as advertised. Little closer to road than I expected but plenty of privacy. Check out Valley View Hills winery about a mile away.

Beautiful property! Rained most of the weekend which only made the experience more peaceful and serene. Beautiful pond on property that gives a nice secluded feeling even with being near many activities in the area!

Great setting clean and great for a couples get away

Very relaxing and peaceful. Cabin is cozy and just down the road from a good winery. Try the blueberry wine! I would definitely book this place again in the future.

This was our third cabin we’ve tried in the Hocking area and loved it! We were there over the Valentine’s weekend and didn’t have the best weather. Unfortunately we didn’t get an opportunity to take advantage of the pond, but it was a nice visual! Loved everything about the place!

The cabin was really nice, small and cozy. Not very far from food and groceries etc. Really relaxing next to the woods. With a great view of the sunset over the pond.

The cabin and property were exactly as listed with a quaint setup. It’s about 30 minutes from Hocking Hills State Park, so definitely doable. We had some issues with the septic system, but the owner was very responsive and had someone come out within an hour of reaching out to her. Would definitely stay again!

Great weekend getaway.

This property was perfect for my husband, dog and I. We wanted a place with some privacy and this did not disappoint. It was a great place to ring in the new year. We will definitely be looking to book again!

My husband & I had a wonderful stay at the overlook cabin. The cabin was clean comfortable & very homey. It was supplied with everything you would need. The bed & pillows were very comfortable. We slept great! We fished in the beautiful pond & caught a few fish. The cabin is about 15-20 minutes away from Lancaster & Logan. The property is located in a peaceful location. We needed to get away to relax & regenerate and that is what we did. The only complaint that we had was the water pressure was terrible which made it difficult to shower & wash your hair.

We had a very nice stay here. Cabin was clean and well furnished. We'll be back sometime.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay at the cabin, accompanied by our pup, Henry. There was lots of space for Henry to run around and explore the woods, and he loved playing in the water. We even got him out on the paddle boat for a ride around the pond. He (and we) had a blast. It’s a lovely spot to kick back and relax.

Communication with host was very gd! Property was very clean and neat! Had everything you need for a stay including dishes, silverware, toilet paper, paper towels, even firewood!! This was our second stay at this beautiful, peaceful cabin in the country. The valley is just gorgeous! We walked the trail at Rockstall Nature Preserve this time, which was a treat. It was difficult to pack up and leave. Next time, I think we should spend more than two nights!
