The Space:

Welcome to the Blue Bell Cottage, located in the quaint and prestigious St. Augustine Historic District of Uptown! This historic home was built in the 1880s and has been lovingly restored with all of the modern conveniences. You’ll fall absolutely in love with the interesting décor, super comfortable furnishings, unique installations, stylish appliances, and perfectly convenient location. To enhance your exploration, you can rent bikes from Drifters Rentals and have them conveniently delivered to your doorstep.

- A bright and spacious sitting area with a plush sofa providing a relaxing space to hang out.



- A fully-equipped kitchen that’s outfitted with everything you’d need to cook up homemade dishes, a dishwasher for quick clean-ups, and a high-top table with 2 stools.



- A stylish dining table with 4 chairs where you can enjoy a sit-down meal or work on your laptop comfortably if needed. There are 2 additional chairs outside if you need to accommodate extra seating.



- A whimsical spiral staircase that leads you to the upper level, where you’ll encounter the loft that has been decked out with a movie projector and cozy electric reclining sofas!



- 2 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms to accommodate 4 guests as such:

- A stacked washer and dryer for your convenience.



- A lovely patio in the rear of the cottage with a gas BBQ grill, relaxing fountain, and outdoor seating.



Guest Access:

You’ll have full, exclusive access to the home during your stay. Should you need anything, please let us know. We’re available 7 days a week.

You’ll be within walking distance or a short drive of almost everything you could need! Let us know if you can find the life-size replica of Michelangelo's DAVID sculpture, also a mere 2 blocks!

Guests must climb stairs to access the upper level of the home.



Baby equipment is available for a fee.



Non-restricted street parking available directly in front of cottage. First come first served but very rarely will there not be an available spot there. On the off chance someone is parked there, you can still park anywhere else on the street.



We provide some home/bath essentials like basic soap, shampoo, conditioner, and toilet paper. Some cleaning supplies, such as dish soap, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent, paper towels, and trash bags, are provided. Keep in mind these items are not replenished.



There is a welcome sheet inside with further instructions, including WiFi details.



Guests may need to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation and/or upon arrival.



A security deposit may be required prior to arrival or at check-in, subject to the booking platform used to make the reservation. This fee is charged as a credit card transaction and refunded after check-out, provided all terms are met.



For reservations of 25 nights or more, a mandatory maintenance check will be conducted to ensure the property remains in excellent condition during your stay. This check will typically take place 1.5 to 2 weeks after your arrival.

We will coordinate the specific timing of this visit with you to ensure minimal disruption and accommodate your schedule. Please note that access to the property for this maintenance check requires prior authorization.



A complimentary cleaning will be provided every two weeks for stays longer than 28 days. Please note this is mandatory.



HOUSE RULES

- Travelers must be at least 25 years of age or older to book.

- No smoking of any kind (tobacco or cannabis) is allowed inside the home or near open windows, and the use of any recreational drugs at the property is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply will incur a $300 penalty.

- No parties/events are allowed, illegal activity is prohibited, and excessive noise will not be tolerated. No loud music after 10 pm. Please be respectful of the neighbors.

- No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed. Visitors are ok as long as they don’t stay overnight.

- Renters agree to cover any charge related to damages that occurred during their stay or extra-cleaning charges if needed after their stay.

- Renters may be required to provide a government ID on the day of check-in or anytime during their stay.

- Pets are not allowed.

- Kindly check all drawers, cabinets, closets, and under the beds. Please make sure you do not leave anything behind. We do not ship belongings to guests after check-out. No exceptions.

    Very clean. Nicely decorated. Good lovation. Only one shower works. Only one bedroom with bath. Cold and drafy at night. Hard time getting owner to help with check in. They don't give you info till 4pm and there's no lighting to the key lock or back stairs at night.

    This property is so amazing. From the decor to the cleanliness and location, you can’t beat it. I loved all the little touches of themed decor in the home….. made it fun to explore around the house for additional details. The home was clean and comfortable and we walked to everything! Will stay again in a heartbeat!!

    This property is perfection. It’s a couple of blocks from the fort, 10 min walk to downtown. Easy. Beautiful- no expense spared, the kitchen is a dream and we loved the movie loft (once we figured out that the USB cord continuously falls out, easy fix). Beds were amazing, loads of blankets, good stuff. One add- the couch is a pullout (not included in listing). HOWEVER. It’s wildly frustrating to call and email for help and never receive a response. There is NO designated parking for the property, which probably isn't a big deal until you are there during a busy period- like night of lights. Which, we were. My husband is handicapped and uses a mobility device, every street was packed everywhere by 4p check in except the “driveway” on the side (into a covered carport) which would have also blocked a “driveway” to an empty/under renovation place next door. There was literally no where else to park, so we called and emailed Kyra @StAug realty which the email said to do to see if it was ok to park there. Nothing. Inside on fridge says to call Kyra with any issues. Never heard back. To this day, no response - not even a, “…sorry I missed your call and email..”Amazing property, just don’t plan on any assistance if you need it.
