Historic Townhouse, Private On Site Parking & Private Courtyard Garden

The property was absolutely lovely. It was beautiful, immaculate and our host had left lots of information about local dining and shopping, which was most appreciated. He let us know that he was available if we needed him, but everything ran perfectly so we never had to call on him. We felt safe, comfortable and were able to relax and feel at home (and sleep soundly) in this quiet residence. The kitchen was impressive; the dining room was large and welcoming, and the living area was both spacious and cozy. Having 2 private parking spaces right outside the back door was a huge bonus. For our week in Savannah, this was the perfect location.

Very nice place in historic downtown

Lovely home which was convenient to everything. Savannah is a very walkable city and it was great to be able to park the car without another fee.

My friend and I stayed for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Steve is a great host and his home is beautiful. The location was perfect and we both loved having our own bedroom and bathroom.

Wow, what a beautiful home! It really felt like we were guests at a friends home rather than staying in a rental. The property is beatifully decorated and comfortably appointed, the owner is very accommodating and it's in a great location for walking the Savannnah historic district. Historic homes, museums, city squares, the river front, shopping, dining and night life are all easily walkable.

The house is ideally located for walking everywhere. House is extremely clean and comfortable with everything you need. I loved all the art and antiques ! The owner is responsive and easy to work with. We loved our stay in Savannah!

My wife and best friend's wife had been reading the book noted in title of the review. They were able to locate the sites all of the places mentioned in the book, thanks to to location of this gem. Town house was beautiful and had everything needed for a wonderful stay. Beds were cozy, kitchen was well appointed and again, a great location. We treated the house like it was our own, taking great care when using the tub/shower. The Uber rides ranged from 6 - 11 depending on how far you went and what time of day (and day). This place was great and I highly recommend it. Thanks again!

I really wanted to stay in Savannah and feel the history and this home did not disappoint. It had all the charm and features to make you wish the walls could talk so that you could go back to the late 1800's and relive the past. Check in process could not be easier. Steve answered in 1 ring to provide the access code. Beds and linens are star-hotel quality. The street noise did not bother me at all. I really wanted to be in the midst of the historic area and so do a lot of other people so you would reasonably expect to hear some vehicles going by or the occasional happy tourist who enjoyed their fair share of fabulous Savannah cocktails. I would say I could hear only 5% of any outside noise but some cars and pedestrians are louder than others, no matter where you travel to. You absolutely cannot hear any sounds from the neighbors or through the walls. The parking was a bonus. The squares are so walkable but my daughter drove in from Fort Stewart and we needed a homebase to leave her car. So many eateries and monuments located nearby. We appreciated the restaurant recommendations in the information binder. Alligator Soul was worth every penny! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Well maintained, beautifully appointed, historic home. Perfect for 1 or 2 couples!

We all loved the house! The place had a lot of charm and plenty of room for the four of us to spread out when need be. The included parking was super convenient and we were in walking distance to all the attractions. We were actually a little bummed it wasn’t listed as available for next St. Patrick’s Day. Would highly recommend!

Great location, very clean

Steve’s place is located in a beautiful area, convenient to seeing historic/downtown and waterfront. It was so nice to have parking, which is hard to come by in Savannah. The home was clean, well cared for and the beds were comfortable. Steve was very responsive and accommodating. Would stay again when we return.

Really enjoyed our week at the townhouse. Lovely place and well stocked kitchen. All appliances worked well. Location in the historic district was perfect for walking everywhere within 15-20 minutes. Some city road noise as expected (not excessive) but no issues with loud people walking by, quiet at night. Enjoyed having the patio and parking spot immensely!

It was almost perfect, the townhouse was just what was described in the listing. We just keep getting lost it was comic Al had a great time.

This home is fabulous for people who enjoy historic homes. The furnishings are authentic to the time frame. It is amazing - felt I lived in my own historic home tour. Enjoy!

It was clean and had what we needed.

We spent two nights in the 1871 Townhouse while passing through Savannah. We absolutely loved the house, it's amazing. The location is great for walking, and anytime you can find a free parking place in Savannah that's a huge bonus. Steven was excellent at communicating with us and information on Savannah in the house was very helpful. We could not have been happier with our experience.
