This house is listed as a Texas State Landmark and built in 1886, so it is historically beautiful!!!! We were all older adults 40 yrs old so we were all amazed with its beauty. The owner/property manager was quick to answer any and all questions. We had a small little issue with lights in the downstairs bathroom going out. I messaged them and asked where the spare bulbs were kept. She answered back immediately. Turned out that it wasn’t the bulb it was a breaker in the breaker box. Messaged back and she immediately let me know where to find the panel. Like I said everything for us was perfect. Even the next door neighbor was nice and friendly. We chatted with him several times and his dog Gracie was the sweetest. I would say that this property would NOT be kid friendly at all. I say this only because there are sooooo many antique and authentic pieces in this home that were look with your eyes but don’t touch them…..that would not be conducive to children. Additionally, the elevator was the same way…. Do not use. So if you have trouble climbing stairs, this would also not be well suited for you. It was perfect for us but we knew what we were renting for the weekend. Would absolutely stay here again in the future.

Historic home was fabulous! We stayed for a wedding weekend for our niece and it held our entire family easily. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out . The kitchen is great, my grands absolutely loved the firetruck bed! Location was walking distance to everything. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful historic house in Galveston's East End. Loved it. The family was very comfortable there, enjoyed the Viking Stove and warming drawer, made homemade pastries and bread everyday.

Truly amazing to be able to stay in a home like this. Prime location, quick walk to the beach or to the Strand. The house is the ultimate backdrop for pictures with impressive furnishings and antique artifacts. We can’t wait to schedule a return trip

This house is beautiful, but is not maintained well. Outside looks rundown Patio furniture was broken and dirty. The dryer did not work on our arrival, nut the owner was able to quickly get it repairedLm.mm

We had a great time with friends and plenty of room for all. Basics were provided and the house was nicely updated inside, beautiful antiques. Host was prompt in their responses. We had trouble with some lighting going out so had to contact them and they sent out electrician.
