Stayed Jun 26, 2025We needed a place to stay in Reno as we were waiting for our house to be finished. We like to stay in unique places, and this fit the bill. The location is wonderful within walking distance to downtown restaurants and by the river. The place was as indicated in the listing.

Stayed Jun 9, 2025I have been traveling to Reno and renting short -term rentals for the last 10 years. This is by far one of my favorite properties I've stayed at.The interior layout's a touch quirky, but the house is fabulous! The location is honestly hard to beat and the river directly across the street is not something you find often with vacation rentals. Val is an absolutely exquisite host and you can really tell she cares deeply for her property. Feeling very envious of the amazing gardens! Thanks again for the great stay!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969My friend and I came to spend a few days working for the Harris Walz Campaign. We chose this house for the lovely location across from the river, and proximity to downtown. We couldn’t have made a better choice! The accommodations were comfortable and clean. The hostess even left us some fruits and vegetables And teas. Every night we took a walk along the river, we went to a lovely little restaurant, walking distance, Beaujolais Bistro. Our host gave us tips for the local Organic restaurant, and we loved Great full Gardens as well. All Of the comforts of home, were here. Well appointed and tasteful furnishings, soft sheets and pillows, comfy beds!! Nothing missing :-)We will return!

Stayed Aug 14, 2024Wonderful cozy historic home with a beautiful yard, across the street from the Truckee River! We walked to elegant restaurants, a coffee shop, and a gourmet chocolate/creamery down the street. A relaxing time was had by all! Val was responsive to all our wants and needs! Thanks Val!

Stayed Jul 1, 2024Highly recommend this place. It’s so cute with a stunning garden, right on the river. Such a cute neighborhood with a coffee shop, dining, ice cream, and more. This truly shows the best of Reno.

Stayed Jun 17, 2024We had an amazing time here. Valerie has been the best host. The house is beautiful - only to be outmatched by the stunning garden. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer location. It’s right on the beautiful truckee river. The tree-lined street provides cool shade on hot Reno summer days. And it’s just beautiful here. Enjoy!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Cabriolet des Artistes was perfect for my needs exploring the city! The home is nicely updated but still retains a quaint historical charm and feel with everything you need for a comfortable stay. You simply cannot beat the location here! The Riverwalk is directly across the street, with multiple parks within walking distance and the best little coffee shop (Hub) just a block away. You feel like you’re right in the heart of Reno, close to everything you’d want to explore yet far enough removed from the casinos to experience a different side of this interesting little city. (I have stayed nearer to the casinos before and did not nearly enjoy the neighborhood as much. This location felt so much more safe and walkable, especially as a female traveler.)As a bonus, the garden is absolutely gorgeous- blooms everywhere you look! A little slice of serenity that was so nice to relax and unwind in after full days out and about. I was a bit worried that noise would be an issue at night but the street was surprisingly quiet after 9pm and I could actually hear the river as I fell asleep sans earplugs! I would definitely stay here again!
