This is our 3rd straight year to stay here. We love this place, it’s quiet, Ruthie is great to work with and her place is just right for us. The little town of Oldenburg is quiet and has a neat little pub with the best breaded tenderloin sandwiches. I would highly recommend this VRBO for your stay.

Great service

The house was perfect. The yard was beautifully landscaped and well taken care of. We enjoyed playing cards and sharing a bottle of wine on the covered patio. Oldenburg was a very clean and safe town. You can tell people take pride in their homes and community. We will definitely return.

My wife and I stayed at the Drees Haus for a weekend getaway. This was our second stay at this property and we will return. The house is cozy and well provisioned. The town is quaint and cute.

Since I was born I have been coming to Oldenburg several times a year to visit my family that owns the house on top of the village... but we've outgrown my grandfather's house so we booked this amazing place! We will be back year after year!!

This house was cozy and clean and we love the way it combined a charming older style with all the modern updates like Wi-Fi and television and Outlets with USB ports to make it a very great stay. Ruthie was an excellent host, checking with us frequently to make sure everything was okay.

Drees Haus is a charming house in Oldenburg. We loved the layout of the house and the historic pieces of furniture and pictures on the walls. We walked to the grocery for a few items we needed for breakfast and snacks. We walked to dinner at Brau Haus on Saturday night and the town was bustling. Church bells were ringing throughout the day which I loved! We were a short distance from Metamora and rented e-bikes for the day. We came back to our charming house and relaxed and watched a movie. I would highly recommend staying at Drees Haus for a relaxing get away.

You are a great location for the airport , the creation and the ark.

We returned this year after a wonderful visit last year. Everything was wonderful and the local street fair was going on as an added bonus. We love love love this place and the owner is super nice and very easy to work with. We plan to return again next year.

One of if not best VRBO property we have ever rented. Recommend taking hike/walk at nearby Whitewater River & Canal Historic Site in Metamora, IN. Strongly recommend this historic home in historic city of Oldenburg, IN. Thanks, Terry & Theresa.
