Guest access
This property is nestled in a unique area of Savannah that I like to call "Brunch Central" so a fabulous property for those planning to dine out and experience the Savannah food scene! We are sandwiched between Savannah's newest Deli - Urban Deli, J Christophers, Hitch & Clarys from the famous Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil. Check out their Trip Advisor reviews to plan ahead for brunch. We do have a newly updated kitchen with full-size refrigerator, stove, dishwasher & pantry storage if you re planning to stay in cook though!
3 private bedrooms are each unique. The two King Suites are very spacious and the Queen Bedroom suite is a little more snug. All of the bedrooms have memory foam mattresses and access to the central bathroom. King room #1 has chaise lounge and adjoins to the living room. The Middle King Room has an antique red velvet couch, fireplace and full size closet with views of Troup Square. Queen bedroom is cozy with views of Troup Square.
Full size laundry washer/dryer is located in living room closet.
The locals cruise up and down the street on the weekends & in the evenings by bike. This residential area is a gem as it is more quiet than the central historic district yet you can still stroll the streets with an Open Container of your favorite adult beverage and it is perfectly legal!
From the bedrooms, you ll be looking out at sky and magical oak branches drenched with Spanish moss. There is a porch off the back. Brand new memory foam beds: 2 King Size Beds & a Queen size bed for a single or couple plus 50 in. flatscreen Smart TV in living room. Wifi, Smart TV to stream your Netflix/Hulu/Amazon Prime, on-street parking, 1 porch, and more in what many say is their "favorite house in Savannah"! Weekly and Monthly Rates available too.
Even though there are windows everywhere, there are floor length curtains you can use if you wish, but honestly, no one can see in because you are up in the trees. I encourage letting the light pour in!
Other things to note:
The small porch-looking areas off the bedrooms *outside the windows* are not for guests to go onto. They are the roofs of the downstairs bay windows and not safe for walking on so please do not go out on top of the windows below.
This property is non-smoking.
We provide you with starter rolls of toilet paper and paper towels. You will need to purchase toilet paper, paper towels, coffee and groceries as this is the main difference between renting a home and staying in a hotel! Please plan ahead there is a CVS and also a Kroger with an easy walking distance for those of you that are feeling athletic or a short Uber ride if you re planning on carrying a lot back!
The Heating & Air throughout the property is from brand new Mini Split Units that act as thermostats to let you adjust the temperature to your liking.
The back porch, which is off the kitchen, faces north and overlooks the courtyard of the restaurant below plus tops of other historic properties! This area is a staging area for patio seating and the friendly cafe staff takes breaks in this area!
PARKING: Street parking is available for our home. Some options surrounding our home are free along Harris Street, limited time spots (in front of restaurant to 1 hr) and also paid parking. This is an Urban area so you may have to look for a spot. Please be aware of sweeping zones when parking.

PLEASE NOTE: A large festival/event (Orange Crush) is anticipated to take place on Tybee Island on the weekend of April 19-21. We anticipate that traffic will be extremely heavy - to the point of gridlock - as past events have drawn thousands of attendees. We just want to make sure you're aware of this in advance as no refunds will be given as a result of traffic/business closures/large crowds/etc... as these occurrences are out of our control. By booking during this time you are acknowledging our refund policy for that weekend as well as the logistical obstacles. As always, we appreciate the opportunity to host your stay!
Our group had a wonderful time at the house! Such a cool experience staying in an historic home that was walkable to everything. It was exactly what we hoped for!
We enjoyed our stay so much! It was a reunion of sorts between friends. We loved all the eateries and things to see and do within walking distance from the vacation rental. It was a great place to stay and very comfortable as well. We will definitely be back!
We stayed in this Historic Mayor's home and absolutely loved it. The home was so quaint and clean and if only those walls could talk. In the past we had always stayed at one of the riverfront hotels but this time me, my wife, son and my sister opted to rent a home. The home had 3 bedrooms and fit us all comfortably. It appeared the home had been recently renovated and everything was so bright and fresh. The kitchen was small but we ate out every meal and it didn't matter. There was a cute patio off the kitchen and it was nice to sit there and decompress. The neighborhood was quiet but you could hear people laughing and talking from the nearby coffee shops. We had zero problem finding parking directly out in front of the house. The communication with the owner/operator was so quick and friendly - Thanks Jenny and Michelle! A really top notch property with owners that want to deliver a 5 star experience. Highly recommend. TY Again!
The property is beautiful, well- managed, and was perfect for our son’s wedding weekend stay! The host was great.
Overall experience of house was good. Location, size, communication, cleanliness were all great. I would stay here again, knowing a few things (bring soap, shampoo, etc, which I feel is fine but some in our party stayed in places that provided that). It is pretty neat to stay in such a historic place. The architecture and history are beautiful. Knowing that it is historic, there is a downside…the windows are beautiful and very large, but have no black out curtains. This means you are up when the sun is up. Not a big deal for us but if you plan to sleep in bring an eye mask. The road noise is more than I am used to. However, from my understanding this location is not near as loud as near the River. Also note that the coffee shop just below does not open until 9, so pack your morning coffee, or head out to one of the other coffee shops (about 5 minute walk). Again, I would stay again with these things in mind).
After a frustrating change of plans with the friends we had planned to stay with, Jenny was an amazing host and really helped me figure out our best options for our visit. It ended up being a wonderful little vacation. The home is in the perfect location, across the street from one of the squares and walking distance to all you want to see in Savannah. I can’t say enough! There’s a cute cafe downstairs where we got coffee and snacks. The beds were some of the most comfortable ones we’ve slept on and the interior is so charming and homey. We will for sure be coming back!
Beautiful flat. Nice location. Had everything a family of 6 adults needed.
Jenny was a fantastic Host whom made the stay personal and informative. This is a great opportunity to enjoy a amazing piece of timeless Savannah history! Comfortable residence with all the amenities! Slept 6 perfectly!
It was the perfect stay for my graduation weekend, the place was beautiful, comfortable and clean. Great location & host.
