My family absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful historic mansion! The beds were comfortable, and the spacious layout was more than enough for the six of us. The home was immaculate, full of charm, and ideally located.Guests should plan to bring their own shampoo, conditioner, and blow dryer, as those items were not provided (which we also never expect to be at vacation rentals). The owner was very responsive and quick to answer our question when we reached out.Overall, we highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again!

Loved this home and the location for our family gathering. There is lots of room for family meals and game night. Great location , beautiful view, and very peaceful yet so close to downtown.

Great layout to give privacy to 9 people from 3 families. Some great things are: yard, house layout, supplies that we didn’t need to bring or purchase (spices, dish detergent, toilet paper, bedding, towels etc.) and simple arrival and departure instructions. Some things that were a bit of a surprise - the home is for sale, the kitchen has very dated appliances and furniture in home is very dated yet comfortable. The surprises didn’t matter to us. We enjoyed our time there!!

Family of 7 we enjoyed this large estate. Elegant and reminded us of the glamour of older homes. Very comfortable and clean. Beds were great. Big spaces for every function. Great views. Some niggles that come with an older place but easy to fall in love with..

We had multiple adults that need their own private space and this house offers that!We enjoyed that it had plenty of common spaces to spread out and enjoy the company of extended family. I will rent this property again should the occasion arise. Property management was excellent to communicate with. They were able to accommodate us with an early check-in. We had a great time!

What an inviting, peaceful home! It was the perfect place for us to stay while in town for our son’s wedding. There was plenty of room for our group of 12 to relax and visit. We appreciated the multiple bathrooms, especially as we were all getting ready for the wedding. It truly was exactly what we needed. Thank you!

This is a really great house. So comfortable. Many separate seating places for people to just hang out and talk. The backyard was superb. We really enjoyed it.

The pipes for this neighborhood were being worked on & we were only notified by the workers by way of note on door as we were arriving for our 3 night stay. We feel the city and the property management company needed to be communicating and have this scheduled so as not to interfere with VRBO business. Our two main days we were told we could not use the water, flush the toilets, use the showers, do laundry, cook with water, or wash hands from 8:00 in the morning until 5 PM. Obviously this was not conducive to our group stay where we were gathered as siblings and older people from out of town needing to stay put and stay gathered, we had to leave the premises. It also seemed that the property management company had not handled the broken sprinklers or the weeding. It looked dead and shabby. The house on the inside was cute and vintage looking. I’ve communicated with the owner and she says they have since fixed the sprinklers. She was very helpful before we arrived making sure our disabled family member could preview the premises to make sure it would work for us. I feel the problems we had were not the fault of the owner. Rather the less then efficient job of the Property Management, which would be over the communicating with the City and the Gardener. I mean if you’re not going to groom the yard & patio, by say putting fresh potted flowers at the door step, just remove the dead potted plants. The VRBO site didn’t always make it easy to communicate. Thankfully owner did.

Our stay was fantastic. We had 9 people in the house and still had plenty of space where everyone had their own place to hang. It wad a great location with a beautiful view out front. It was all we expected it to be and more. We would love to stay there again on our next trip out to the area.

We had a group of couples, kids, and single ones. This house fit our needs perfectly. There was plenty of room to be together but also lots of space to be separate. We loved being right across from the walking trail. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked. The only issue we had was with not having enough hot water for showers. We staggered our showers to make this better.
