Historic Hot Springs Home < 1 Mi to Oaklawn!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming historic home in Hot Springs. Built in the early 1900s, the house has beautifully maintained its original character while still providing all the comforts of home. It was clean, inviting, and full of charm.The host went above and beyond by providing snacks and stocking the kitchen with everything we needed, including spices, coffee, and condiments, which made our stay especially convenient. The beds were very comfortable, and our entire extended family slept well.We were in Hot Springs for a wedding weekend, and this home was the perfect place to gather and relax. The host was incredibly responsive, professional, and easy to work with throughout the entire process.If you're looking for a cozy, well-appointed home with historic charm and a wonderful host, we would highly recommend staying here!

The host Darlene was so easy to work with and checked in on us to make sure everything was good. The house was very unique. I will stay here again!

Our stay in the McQueeney house was fantastic. We loved getting to meet Darlene and hear about the history of this special house. Every detail was addressed down to coffee pods, comfy blankets and umbrellas by the front door which were all super handy during our stay. The home was clean and tidy and the location was perfect !! Great for a little gambling and short drive into town. Darlene also gave us some great recommendations for fun restaurants. She was very responsive and helpful. My favorite part of the trip was my morning coffee on the beautiful wrap around front porch - absolute heaven! We can't wait to return and highly recommend the McQueeney house to anyone looking for a special stay in Hot Springs :-)

Amazing house. Great communication with the host and property manager. If I could give it 10 stars I would. It was a great place to stay. Very close to horse track and casino.

Lovely home in Oaklawn district, very close to the horse race track. Super easy access to downtown Hot Springs / Bath House Row / National Park. Located in a safe, quiet neighborhood. Owner sent very helpful information prior to trip, check in and check out were a breeze. This unique home was perfect for our multigenerational family trip. The home was clean, had all the amenities we needed (and more! ie kitchen utensils, bathroom items, games) , the beds were very comfortable. Plenty of parking for 3 vehicles. We loved sitting on the front porch and terrace. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to others!

This was a great place to stay. Great location, great setup, well stocked kitchen. The house felt like a home and not like a super corporate rental property. Host was incredibly communicative and kind. Would definitely stay here again.

We fell in love with this place. Rooms were spacious, everything was gorgeous and we most certainly will rent again! Couldn't ask for a more perfect place in a beautiful neighbor hood, close to everything!

Amazing McQueeny home built in 1904 was absolutely stunning. Location was fabulous in a quiet neighborhood but really close to everything in Hot Springs and for us short drive to all the Crystal Mines. Decorations and comfort of house inside and out was just stunning. I kept finding little details and architectural treasures each day. Outside porch and deck were woderful my wife said she could spend the whole days there. Host and property manager were great and welcoming. Definitely our go to place in Hot Springs We loved the McQueeny House

We came with extended family for the weekend. The house was beautiful with plenty of room for us all. The house is full of character and the wrap around porch was a big hit! Communication was great and we would definitely stay here again!

Excellent footer horse racing trip.

This home was perfect for our two-night stay in Hot Springs. Conveiniently located, easy to access, and viewing the ponies from the kitchen window was an added bonus. The beds slept so comfortably. It had all the amenities of home while being away. I would recommend this house to anyone staying in the area.

Our group came for the races again and stayed at the McQueeny home again. We love the location, space for playing games and a kitchen that is stocked like no other! The beds and bedding are so comfortable it makes it easy to fall asleep. We needed to reach out with a question and they were quick to reply. Had a great visit even with all the storms and tornado warnings.

This house is great for our annual Oaklawn trip with our adult children and their spouses/signicant others and our grandkids. Within walking distance to the races so everyone can come and go as they please. And we love how the furnishings fit the history of the home! Glad we could stay here again!

We loved every minute of our stay. We were a group of 7 widows, ranging in age from 64 to 91. The accommodations were so perfect for us. With the two bedrooms and bath downstairs and the four beds and two baths upstairs, we had plenty of space. We sat and visited the night away and enjoyed the morning on the deck with coffee and morning devotion. All aspects of the house, location, parking, checking in and out, answers to a couple of questions while we were there….all perfect.

This wonderful house has been apart of me and my college friends annual trip for 10 years. Back deck looks at track at Oaklawn. Property owner is very attentive to suggestions we have made over the years. This house is a must stay if you are ever in Hot Springs or going to Oalawn!

What a wonderful, beautiful historic home right in the heart of Hot Springs! Our family of 7 had plenty of room in this quaint home. We loved the Christmas decor and the comfy beds. The kitchen is fully stocked with all you need to cook, including many spices and condiments in fridge. Darlene, the owner, is very nice and quick to answer any questions. We will be back!
