Historic Home Near Downtown Salem: Walk to Capitol

This house and its location were perfect! Sitting on the patio with coffee in the morning listening to the creek was a perfect wat to start the day! Home is well stocked and we found everything we needed!

Absolutely beautiful home...included anything and everything we might need.

Clean and well maintained property. Very comfortable. Although we were so busy we didn’t get to enjoy the outside sitting area/bbq like we’d have liked to, it was beautiful to walk around with the peaceful stream and blossoming roses. The host was easy to communicate with and very accommodating and kind when speaking on the phone. A great place to stay all around!

This lovely property has a great location. We were able to walk there from the train station, and then walk all over downtown and the capitol area. It was quiet and spacious.

The home is cozy and beautifully decorated. We really appreciated the little things, too, like plenty of towels plus baggies and kleenex. The creek and property are lovely, a relaxing place to hang out. This is by far the prettiest house we saw in the historic district. Great renovation work and cheerful/welcoming yellow house. I have stayed at many, many VRBO properties through the years and this was the best experience of all of them. Thanks to Jay for the helpful convo about the area just before we arrived!

House was so cute and as described - though should be clarified that one bathroom is on first floor and other bathroom and both bedrooms are on second floor.Kitchen is very well-equipped and furnishings are comfortable. The patio is exceptional. Took notes on landscaping - theirs is stunning.

We stayed for a week in this wonderful home with our 2 dogs. The first 2 nights we had our kids with us before we dropped them off at summer camp. The house was perfect. Extremely clean, and stocked up with everything you might need. The beds are very comfortable. We absolutely loved the yard/garden. We had most of our meals outside on the patio listening to the river rush by as the dogs played on the grass. The house is close to tons of delicious restaurants (the breakfast place down the street is unbelievable!). There is nothing I would change about our stay. Thank you for sharing your charming home with us, can’t wait to come back.

Our stay was perfect. This is a remarkable home that is furnished beautifully & completely equipped to meet any need. Jay, the home manager, was helpful at every turn. The location in a dog & bike friendly neighborhood enables easy access to all Salem has to offer.

It exceeded our expectations in every way, and I highly recommend it if you want to stay in a gorgeous house in a great location next to a magical creek! This was our second time renting this home. It has an extremely well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and cozy living areas for gathering. The yard is also amazing! I️ could sit and listen to the creek for hours. Close to downtown/Willamette University. I️ highly recommend this home!

We came to visit our daughter who attends Willamette University. The property was in a quiet neighborhood and you could walk to the University and downtown Salem. The home and kitchen were well equipped for all our cooking needs. Had puzzles and games and YouTube TV and was pet friendly for our dog. This is our 2nd stay at this property and plan to stay there again in the future.

Had a fantastic experience at the house! The house was just as described, very clean, comfortable beds, kitchen was well stocked, perfect for two couples. The patio next to the creek was fantastic! Jay, the manager, was helpful. Would definitely recommend this house!
