Georgetown, South Carolina
Charming 4-BR, 3-Bath historic home with a lovely combination of Old & New features including original refinished wood floors, coffer ceilings, granite counter tops, ceramic tile, and stainless steel appliances. Located in Historic Georgetown (the third oldest city in South Carolina) just off of Highway 17 between Charleston and Myrtle Beach.
Enjoy walking to shops, restaurants, Harbor-walk and East Bay Park. Perfectly located for the many events in Georgetown including The Wooden Boat Show, Historic Georgetown Bridge to Bridge Run, fishing tournaments, plays at the Strand Theater and much more!
Relax on the large Charleston-Style porch after the end of a long day exploring the history of Georgetown, on Pawleys Island, or out on the Intracoastal Waterway. Boaters can take advantage of the two marinas located one block away and be in the Atlantic Ocean, Winyah Bay, or Waccamaw River within minutes.
Great spot and the house is perfect for family of 6.
We had a great weekend in Georgetown and of course the accommodations play a big part in the enjoyment factor! Everything was just perfect!
Perfect place for our gathering. Plenty of room for us to be to gather. Super clean. Will surely rent Again. Thanks for sharing your home.
Super location, nice house!
4 of us enjoyed staying at 412 Front St. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable. We all loved how much of the house felt original. At the same time, the amenities were modern: the kitchen was well stocked with appliances, cutlery, dishes, birthday candles, and more. Beautiful stone countertops. A nice stash of games and children's toys. I quickly claimed one of the rocking chairs on the porch for morning coffee and reading. The town of Georgetown (historic district) was 2 blocks away -- a lovely walk under live oak trees. 2 seafood markets were within 3 blocks. A city park was a few blocks away, complete with walking trail, playground, tennis courts and fitness course. The house's location was ideal for us. The house itself was welcoming and quiet. I will recommend this house to others, and hope to stay here again in the future.
We were looking for a centralized location between Myrtle Beach and Charleston and chose this comfortable house. It was everything we were looking for Georgetown was a great little community with lots to do, we never even went to Myrtle Beach. The beaches at Pawleys Island were terrific and not as busy. We would definitely book this rental again in the future.
Comfort with character that cannot be adequately explained. Sitting on the porch after a very short walk downtown for excellent meals and shopping. Why stay in boring hotel room or average house. This house was built in 1750 and upgraded with all the modern luxuries—do yourself a favor and do something completely different.
The house was perfect for our needs. Layout was great, as was location. Fun to stay in a historic house. Easy walk to downtown. Thanks for everything.
Very nice and convenient house!
Needed a place to stay while working on a local building and this place was perfect.
We had a wonderful girls weekend away from home. It was a perfect location to downtown, the water, the tours, and more. Highly recommend.
Loved the quirky layout of the home, as well as the ability to walk to front street in Georgetown with ease.
I recently rented this property as my daughter got married in the area. It is a beautiful home with a very convenient location! Plenty of room for my family of four! So convenient to Front Street shops and restaurants!
My daughters party stayed her for three nights. Great property, location and accommodations are wonderful.
We stayed here for our sons wedding which was at Hopswee Plantation! This house is within walking distance to restaurants and shops. It is also dog friendly which is great! Hannah is very sweet.
Historical house yet with modern amenities. Easy walk to waterfront or Eastbay Park. Great for families.
The house was in a wonderful location and had everything we needed. Walked to restaurants in Georgetown on the waterfront and had some great meals. Close enough to go to the beach a few times. Owner was easy to contact and waited for us to arrive and give us a tour and history of the house!
Hannah is an extremely helpful host! Her response time is prompt. She's very accommodating. As well as knowledgeable about the area. She's awesome and can give you plenty of ideas for your visit. While we were there, she even took the time to notify us of a fun event that was taking place! The home is gorgeous and decorated beautifully. But you'll still feel comfortable lounging and relaxing. The home and yard are spotlessly maintained and cared for! I wish that I could have stayed longer!
Great spot for a quick getaway.
Historic home beautifully decorated and equipped with everything we needed.
Beautiful and interesting home in the heart of historic downtown Georgetown. The host was very accommodating, the property was spacious and cozy at the same time. Loved it!
The property exceeds all it is advertised to be and provides an excellent stay!! Highly recommend!!
The house located in a historical district that is easy to walk and full of history. It is also central to downtown, and an easy walk to the restaurants [which are all locally owned], and shopping. Great and easy communication with the property owner. Lots of nice amenities in the bathrooms and kitchen. Outside is lovely to sit and be with family. a really great place for couples or family.
We will be back thanks
