Stayed May 28, 2026This is a beautiful property in a beautiful rural location. The house itself is well furnished and comfortable. The kitchen well-appointed and easy to work in, and the main living rom was big enough for a large group with room for children to play.The back yard was great for young children to play in and the patio was perfect for adults to relax and chat.Three of the bedrooms and both full baths are upstairs in the older part of the house. This section was built before modern building codes (early 20th century?) and so the stairs are narrow and can be a bit tricky. If you have difficulty going up and down stairs this could be a problem. So if stairs aren't a problem for you, check out the Blue Ribbon Homestead. You'll enjoy your stay.

Stayed May 22, 2026The house was exactly what we were hoping for for our Gettysburg weekend! Everything was very clean, well-kept, and comfortable from the moment we arrived. The location was awesome — close to everything we wanted to do while still feeling relaxing and convenient. It ended up being the perfect home base for exploring Gettysburg and enjoying the weekend. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Stayed Apr 23, 2026The only disappointment we had was with the weather—cold and rainy. So we were unable to fully appreciate the expansive beautiful property, patio and fire pit. Everything else was perfect for our large group. Plenty of room to spread out, have privacy, but also welcomes group gathering! We loved it! Minutes from Gettysburg with a scenic gorgeous drive!
