Fennville, Michigan
Need a vacation rental with plenty of space to spread out Look no further – Fenn Hill isn't just your average lake cottage. With enough room for 16 guests, this private estate can accommodate large and multigenerational families, as well as friend groups and reunion getaways.
Guests can choose between seven cozy, artfully curated bedrooms with scenic window views: three on the first floor, and four on the second floor. Claim one of the comfy nooks with queen sized beds, while the youngsters set up camp in one of the bedrooms with two twin beds. Pro tip: steal the 7th bedroom with a game area before anyone else gets to it! There is also a sleeper sofa in the living room for additional sleeping. Bathrooms aren't an issue either – with two on the first floor and one on the second floor, you won't have to battle over showers.
Not a morning person You might actually enjoy them here at this 1890 farmhouse. Brew a cup of coffee and sip as you admire the morning light pouring through the front foyer entry windows. It's a serene spot to sign the guest book and imagine the home's 150-year-old history, and all the people who stepped into Fenn Hill before you. Breakfast can be enjoyed at one of the small breakfast bars in the warm, bright kitchen. Watch the birds fly by from the large backyard-facing kitchen window and get excited for the coming day.
When it's time to plan out today's activities as a group, you can convene on the couch in the comfy, modern living room. This is also a great place to wind down with a movie in the evening or host a game night.
While the interior of Fenn Hill is comfortable and spacious, you'll probably be dying to get outside where the magic really happens. The grassy, beautifully landscaped front and side yards are huge. So challenge each other to lawn games as you take in the scenic Fenn Valley Winery vineyards just a few hundred yards away. We also wouldn't judge you if you spent your entire vacation poolside, swimming, and sunning on our umbrella-covered lounge chairs. This brand-new heated in-ground pool is open to guests from Memorial Day through September. Take a dip when the weather's hot, then gather around the tranquil outdoor fire pit space for conversation and marshmallow roasting. On cooler nights any time of year, when the air is crisp and the stars are bright in the sky, there's nothing more magical than a float in our private hot tub. Relax and enjoy the total privacy of this backyard patio space, with furniture seating, a grill, and unforgettable views. This is the wine country getaway of a lifetime.

Our best family holiday weekend to date. For context, we treat our kids and grandkids to a Thanksgiving/Christmas weekend early in December each year so their actual holiday schedules are less hectic. This year's theme was Hallmark Channel Christmas. This amazing, 1890 farmhouse was absolutely perfect. Everything was as described. Tons of kitchenware to prepare and eat our Thanksgiving dinner. Huge yard to host our Christmas Olympics events. Perfectly furnished living areas to host Christmas morning and family game night. Tons of bedding and towels for a large group. Crazy Michigan weather even gave us a warm evening to sit around the campfire in the big, paved fire pit area. It was only 17 miles from Holland where we attended the Christmas market and light show. Only 2 negatives that any of us mentioned were the remnants of an outdoor party that hadn't been cleaned up in the backyard and a baby gate for the stairs would have been super helpful. The house has 1890s steep stairs going to the 2nd floor. We had to move a chair in front of the stairs to keep our very fast, toddler grandson from pretending he was climbing Mt. Everest every 2 minutes. Great property, great location, great weekend.
Fennville Estate was a perfect for our family gathering. Plenty of room for everyone to feel comfortable. We will definitely return. Thanks for being part of our Thanksgiving memories.
We enjoyed being able to sit together as a big group in the tv room, plenty of furniture. We really enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and fire pit as well
This house was beyond amazing! Perfect for big groups like ours and everyone had a blast. The pool and arcade games were a big hit, as well as the close location to Fenn Valley winery. We were able to walk to the winery and had only a short drive into Saugatuck. I hope to visit again!
We loved our stay! It was the perfect spot for a multi-family trip. The kids loved the pool, we all enjoyed the fire pit and volleyball net. There were multiple places to sit out doors and enjoy the peaceful serenity of the wooded lot. Interior decor is so cute and fun, this house was rehabbed with great attention to detail. We loved visiting the area orchards, vineyards and our favorite spot, Virtue Cider. Highly recommend this home for a multi family getaway.
We loved the swimming pool!
It was a great experience for a getaway, away from noice and crowded areas. Great relaxing time. Totally recommend
There were enough beds and bathrooms for my group to be comfortable. We used every amenity and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The pool, hot tub, fire pit, and game net kept us busy. On our rainy day there were plenty of games to entertain us. We were very happy with this home and area and would love to come back next year.
Very nice property and a great getaway. Pool was a little too cold to swim in but we made the best out of our time anyways!
We had a great time, I did have a hard time getting ahold of the owners which was the only downside but we did get a later check out due to miscommunication. This is a great place to go to when you want to get away from everything and hangout with family and friends!
house was cold, inaccurate heating in rooms. oven when in use sets off smoke detectors due to fan. not working , odor in the home from possible mold in the basement , one of the games was not working properly , the house was on a lock box not key pad as described , showers very small we all had to use one bathroom.
Besides braving the storm it was a wonderful stay for us. It was definitely a white Christmas. We weren’t able to explore much because of the blizzard but we will be back in the summer.
We enjoyed the property and the location was so perfect- we even got to walk right across the street to Fenn Valley vineyard!
Perfect place to stay while experiencing The Michigan Wine Trail!
A group of six girls stayed at the farmhouse for a long weekend, visiting the Tulip Festival in Holland and Saugatuck for shopping and a retro boat rental. This farmhouse has a perfect location, across from a winery and in a private setting! The host was great, thank you for sharing your home with us!!
Had a wonderful time with my friends at the property, it was a beautiful place and the hot tub was very nice! Clean place with lots of space. Some weird extra fees came with ie must run dishwasher before leaving or it's a $25 fee but I get that you don't want the place trashed. Overall a great and easy stay on a beautiful property definitely would stay again!
