Historic farmhouse with amazing views! Close to campus, trails, and farm brewery

Beautiful property inside and out close to VT, next door to a wonderful brewery and across the street from the Huckleberry trail. Perfection.

Great stay! The house was perfectly appointed with everything I needed. Very clean and well taken care of. I loved having the brewery with live music next door! Located out in the country, but a very short drive to town. I would definitely stay there again!

I cannot say enough nice things about this property. This beautiful farmhouse retains its original charm with modern conveniences added. The location is wonderful. We started our days having coffee on the patio, surrounded by the fragrance of lilacs just about to bloom. We took in the beautiful scenery, watching the morning mist settle between the hills. Jessica could not have been more communicative or accommodating. She was very responsive to my messages and was a fabulous host. Five stars, highly recommend, and we look forward to returning.

Our family of 4 were in town for a couple days for a college tour of VT. This sweet farmhouse was perfect for us. It was super close to campus, next door to a cool brewery and had lots of outdoor seating and a firepit. The rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. We LOVED the old-timey (my kids words, not mine) radio in the living room that worked perfectly. The kids also loved the TV that looked like a painting when it wasn't in use. The kitchen was fully stocked and the host graciously left us coffee grounds from a local beanery. Overall, the farmhouse was extremely welcoming. We felt right at home from the moment we pulled into the driveway. This is one of those places that selfishly you want to keep to yourself so word doesn't get out about how great it is and is then always booked! Thank you for sharing your home with us. Cute story: my husband and I walked next door to the brewery to grab a beer and sit outside. We had been there for about 10 minutes when one of the employees came out to tell us that a storm was rolling in and we should probably come inside. We told him we were staying next door and asked if we could take our beers home with us. No problem! These guys are good neighbors! We simply returned the beer glasses the next morning. :)

I was looking for a place large enough for several family members plus a nice size kitchen for Easter dinner. I found this place and everyone loved it. It’s in a great location - close to VT but feels like it is in the middle of nowhere. There is a brew pub next door and we never heard any sound from it while inside even though a band was playing Saturday night. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a traditional Easter dinner. Having a bedroom and bath downstairs was great for my mom. All the bedrooms were large and the beds were comfortable. The owners were very responsive to questions. We’ll definitely be back.

Bringing young kids to see their cousin in college, we were close to her apartment, they had space to run around after 7 hour car ride, loved having the fire pit, plenty of space in living to gather also

Great location away from, but easily accessible to downtown. Fun brewery next door with good beers and music. Fun bike ride into VT campus. Convenient for game day or a retreat. Clean, great character, and good Mountain View’s.

This place was amazing! Such the heart and soul of a true restored historical home and in a GREAT location. Everything was perfect! Super clean and spacious!

We had a small group get together in Blacksburg for a football game and to celebrate our son’s birthday. It was nice having a comfortable and beautifully restored farmhouse to relax in during the off time. The hosts had everything we needed at the house and the location is great near the brewery. We would definitely stay here again!

We visit Blacksburg often. This property is incredible. Just the right amount of upgrades to be functional without losing the appeal of the old farmhouse. Everything worked properly, and the house was perfectly clean. The owners were easy to contact, responsive, and wonderful to work with.
