Historic Cottage Pet Friendly Downtown Sparta TN 45 Mins to 4 State Parks

I stayed at this house numerous times and I’m always pleased. If I have ever had an issue, it has been addressed right away. The host is very responsive. This is a great home to feel at home in!

Spotless home very conveniently located just off the Sparta town square.

We were in town for a wedding and this home was absolutely perfect! Decor, design and lay out are exactly as described. Modern upgrades throughout, making it comfortable and convenient but still the 1910 charm with the hardwood floors and large pane windows. The beds were comfortable, walk in shower had great water pressure and the host left coffee, creamer, snacks, toiletries and other touches throughout. The large porch looked relaxing but it got too chilly for us to enjoy it. There is also a back deck recently built. We enjoyed walking to the cute square and had a fabulous dinner at Brothers. Host was very responsive. Highly recommend 10/10

As advertised…well maintained historic property with appropriate modern updates. First class furnishings and amenities throughout. A couple of issues from the previous guests were fixed immediately. The property was extremely clean. Would highly recommend this unit.

I love staying at this house. Great location being next to the square with live music some nights on weekends and terrific pizza restaurant.

The cottage is exactly as described. It’s clean and stocked with supplies (very much appreciated). Bedrooms, family room and dining room are very comfortable. Kitchen and laundry/playroom are functional and well-stocked Everything we used worked well. This is an exceptional property…..far better than most that are available. The host is very responsive. There are several parks and waterfalls easily reached from downtown Sparta.

This was a great place to stop for the night on our 2000 mile journey. It was close to coffee and restaurants and the home was clean and well equipped. We would definitely stay again.

Charming cottage home, charming town!We chose this home due to its location to so many waterfalls in middle TN. We wanted a quick getaway with our daughter and pups! This home was perfect! From the decor to having everything and more for our dogs to enjoy (they loved the backyard and morning walk around the town square). We enjoyed breakfast on the back patio and evening tea on the front porch. We loved being able to walk for great options whether it was shopping, grabbing a drink at a brewery or dinner next door. Sparta is a quiet community we used as our base for daily hikes. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked for meals together. The layout of the home is great for gathering and reconnecting. We'd absolutely stay here again the next time we visit middle TN!

It was so wonderful to be able to spend Mother’s Day with mom and visit.

The house was amazing---warm, clean, comfortable and beautiful. Such effort put into every detail of the design. Each night we had a fire outside or sat on the porch during the day. The location was perfect...we loved the coffee shop around the corner, the pizza place and the clothing store. The house was great---really great but this stay was about the host. She is amazing. Before I got there she responded to everything, sent me recommendations like the pizza place and while we there, we needed her for something and she went ABOVE AND BEYOND. A great host and human. We are planning to meet there annually and stay in this house.

This 2 bedroom / 2 bath home is very clean and steps away from downtown Sparta. Walked to the coffee shop, wood-fired pizza place and other shops. Nice porch, sat on it with my labrador every morning and night. We visited with family that lives nearby.

Had a girl's wknd trip and stayed at this lovely home! It was perfect! Plenty of space for 6 of us, very homey and relaxing and right by town square. Hosts were very responsive and we loved the lil treats! Would definitely stay here again!

The house was charming! Street in front a little busier than expected. We enjoyed the back deck and cooking in the kitchen. A few minor things we wondered about. Overall great stay!

This is the second year we've stayed at the cottage and it did not disappoint! Great location whether you are staying local or venturing out to other attractions. The home is welcoming and very well kept and stocked with all necessary amenities. The owners are very responsive to questions and checked in to see how we were doing shortly after we arrived. Definitely would stay again!
