Historic cottage for solo travelers and couples, 5 min to downtown COS

Cozy little place to stay if you're exploring the Old Colorado City/Colorado Springs area. Convenient to plenty of shops and hiking options. The house has everything you'd need and is full of eclectic art. The backyard has a comfortable hammock and hanging chair to lounge in, as well as a useful little table to enjoy playing a card game on while you watch the sun go down. In the living room you'll find an assortment of VHS, DVDs, & records if you didn't bring your own entertainment. I found the neighborhood to be quiet and it was much appreciated to have AC to keep the summer heat at bay. If I'm ever back in the area, I'd stay again.

Great stay in a great spot. Convenient access to everything we wanted to do. The place had a great vibe and the host thought of everything. From check in to check out, everything was convenient and simple. We would stay here again if we come back to the Springs.

We really enjoyed our stay at this very cute home. It was located close to the Garden of the Gods, Pike's Peak and Old Colorado City. The home was clean, the bed was comfortable and our dogs loved the fenced in back yard. The owner was easy to work with and the neighborhood was quiet. We would stay here again if we ever come back to Colorado Springs.

It was such a nice and relaxing place. It felt like a home away from home. She was very kind and responded to my questions quickly. My dogs loved the yard and the front porch.

My dog, Colorado, and I stayed here at the beginning of our trip to Colorado. It definitely started us off on the right foot. The house is conveniently located, and the neighborhood is incredibly peaceful. Exactly what you need for an amazing visit!

The location of the house was great and it was very comfortable … creative and compelling artwork and lots of throwback stuff including a record player, VHS player and old DVDs that we had fun with. Enjoyed our stay!

This little home is just minutes from downtown Old Colorado City. It’s quiet, without a lot of noise from the roads or neighborhood. We enjoyed walking down to OCC on their First Friday Art Days and exploring the shops. We enjoyed hanging in the backyard and just chatting. Recommend for a single traveler or a couple that enjoys being close.

Everything in the description of this property, and all the current reviews are exactly what we found. We were so pleased with the neighborhood, and the yard is beautiful (even though we were there in winter). It is easily apparent that a lot of loving care has been put into the home. From the time we first walked into the front door we knew we had made a good decision. It felt like stepping into a very tasteful eclectic art gallery! House was very clean, kitchen had everything we needed and more, and the bed and sofa were both very comfortable. The fenced yard was perfect for our two dogs, and we really appreciate that Andrea didn't care they were large breeds. So many places put a weight limit on pets, it was nice to find someone who knows just because a dog is large doesn't mean it is not well-behaved. Andrea was very accommodating when we had to cut our stay short for personal reasons. The decor in the home is amazing. We love an eclectic style and this house is full of wonderful and thoughtful artistic pieces. We loved everything about it and will definitely stay again given the opportunity. Highly recommended. One of the best places we have ever stayed!
