Historic Civil War house, great for family getaways.

Everything was exactly as expected, would reccomend for ease and access to Gburg.

Tessa was fantastic and helped us prepare for our stay. The location was perfect for walking into town or driving out to the battlefield. Very clean, comfortable, and full of all the amenities you could need. We will definitely stay again!

This house was absolutely beautiful. It is extremely clean and comfortable. It is perfectly located so that you can walk to just about every attraction. Also surprisingly quiet. We had upstairs neighbors and nightly concerts right up the street, but from inside we never heard a peep! It was absolutely wonderful!

Property is ideally located. Plenty of shops and restaurants a short walk away. The main Gettysburg historic park is a close bike ride away. The privacy fence for the back yard provides a great place to put bicycles without fear of them disappearing. The space itself is large for a 2 bedroom and also has a large dining room table which was perfect for our large board gaming.

This place was in a great location. Could walk to most places in town that we wanted to. Very spacious for my family of 4. The pics don't do it justice as far as the space. Loves the hardwood floors and built in cabinets. It was very clean also.

We stayed in first floor apartment for three nights. The unit was well equipped. Parking is convenient and the main town square is a short walk away.

Nice home in a great location!

This property was larger than expected, and super clean. It was by far the cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed in. The beds are comfortable. The living room and dining room area are very spacious. The location is perfect. We walked pretty much everywhere, except for our tour of the battlefields. There are lots of shops and great dining options all within walking distance. The owner has a binder full of options/suggestions for eating and touring. This was so helpful because we always want to know the locations the locals frequent. We tried many of the suggestions and all were fabulous! This will be our first option when we come back to the area!

this property is everything and MORE. absolutely stunning property. the location couldn’t be any better for all things Gettysburg. The only issue we had was the front door is exceptionally old and difficult to lock. we are planning on coming back and staying again in Spring. love love love would not recommend for small kids as some of the furniture is antique.

It was exciting to stay at the Stahle house! We enjoyed the beauty of the home and it was immaculately clean. We had no issues or surprises. The only thing is that the listing showed there was a pull out bed and sleeps 6, which ended up only being 2 beds and slept 4. Some of our family had to stay elsewhere, but it was big enough to enjoy a family dinner together. We really enjoyed our time in the home Thank you so much!

We had a great experience renting from Tessa. The home was historic, charming, and clean. We were able to have additional family rent out the upstairs unit so we essentially had the whole home to ourselves. The house was within walking distance to shops and restaurants. We had a wonderful time walking around exploring the area. We’d love to book again and highly recommend this rental.

Everything about this house was exceptional! The house was immaculate, kudos to the housekeeper! The location was great, could easily walk to the shops and restaurants. Loved sitting on the back deck and relaxing both in the morning before a hectic day and again in the evening . Will definately stay there again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was original to the Civil War and was decorated as such. There was plenty of space for just my husband and myself although there was another bedroom. I think it would have gotten dicey with 4 people sharing one bathroom but would have made it work. Great location right in the heart of Gettysburg. Had fun walking around town if not too exhausted after exploring the battlefields all day. Tessa was very responsive when I could not find the blender, she ran one right over 20 minutes later. Very comfortable in the house. Overall, great experience and would recommend to others.

This was a great stay- house was clean , well kept and just as described!

I am a herd critic on property and care to the guests. Property was clean and everything was working. For the high extra fees a later checkout would be appropriate and should not be based on convenience of housekeepers schedule ability, but the guest in mind. I would stay here again as the house was very nice as a backup to my preferred place of stay.
