Historic charmer with a pool, gardens, gym, & game room- dogs ok

PLEASE READ!! The house appeared great. That said, I was attacked by bed bugs (or some other creatures) during my stay. When I contacted the hosts, they said No bugs were found. It is a big property and bug bites can happen inside or outside of the house. I was on a trip with 5 friends and the only thing we did different, was sleep in different beds. I woke up after the first night with three or four bites. Then, this is on me, figured it was clean and slept a second night. I woke up the next morning with over 20 bites. This is a nice property, but based on the customer service and their response, I'm not sure this isn't a recuring problem.

Casa Alegre is a historic house with a lot of fun decor and comfortable furniture in a quiet neighborhood on a large lot in San Antonio.

It was for three nights for a wedding weekend. It was absolutely perfect! The game room, the TVs, the kitchen the grounds. It was absolutely perfect. The swimming pool and the terrace were wonderful as well!

The house itself is very comfortable— several seating areas with plush sofas and nice bedrooms. The property feels like a private oasis. Thick gardens, chirping birds, and owls create a beautiful outdoor space where kids and adults can enjoy a relaxing paradise. The house is a marvel of old Texas architecture, and it is decorated thoughtfully.

Loved everything except the water pressure issues in the upstairs bathroom's

We were pleasantly surprised to find that The home was absolutely beautiful and the online photos did not do it justice. There was more than enough room for my family of 6 to enjoy a weekend away from home for our daughter’s birthday. We had all the entertainment we needed in one place, including gorgeous pool, gym, pool table and hockey, WiFi , and nearby park. We had all the amenities we needed and the classic beauty of the home combining historical and modern touches , along with its central location made our stay even more enjoyable. We’d love to go back for a longer stay, maybe spring break or during the summer to take full advantage of this charming home.

Very large and somewhat disjointed home, however a large group would be will handled. Our group of 6 had dwindled to a group of only 4. Great location and good restaurants close by. We enjoyed being close to Traders Joes for a quick meal.

Enjoyed our stay at this unique and spacious home. Big enough for 3 families to stay together and everyone had a bed and bathroom. Well managed and clean property with a beautiful pool in the backyard. We would stay again z

The large family area and fabulous kitchen makes gathering the family simple and easy. We cooked meals together with cleanup super easy with the 2 dishwashers and 2 refrigerators. The extras of pool table and air hockey kept everyone entertained. We will definitely stay again!

This home more than met our expectations! Conveniently located, beautiful property and tons of off-street parking.The house itself was amazing-perfect place to gather with family, and has so much space for staying with multiple families. Kitchen was stocked like a gourmet kitchen, and the amenities allowed for so much fun. We hope to go back this summer and use the pool! Staff was super friendly and easily reached. Rent this house!

What a house! 10 min from the airport. So much space, so uniquely mixing vintage and modern. Seriously, if I lived in TX this is the house I would have to live in. (We're from NY. And I learned that I just don't love Northeast vintage, I love all vintage!) We think the front half of the house was built in 1929. And clearly a well thought out expansion was added more recently. Tons of space, inside and out. The pool was lovely also. Grand and equipped kitchen space, but bring aluminum foil and the like. The air hockey and pool table got tons of use. The pool was actually a great space to relax in peace. In a neighborhood, but didn't seem so. Looked like a quiet park on one side and lots of privacy growth on the other. Circular dive and carport for plenty of parking space. I seriously hope to have a reason to rent this home again!

The outside is not appealing at all. But once inside, it's comfortably. The outside everything is overgrowth. You can't see the beauty of the outside at all. The pictures do not do the place any justuce. But once in side. It's very different but really nice. Love the bedrooms and bathrooms. Everyone loves the game, room.

Fantastic location size cleanliness amenities decor! We unexpectedly hosted a large get together 25 people and it was so accommodating. In the pool non stop, game room party, yoga in the free standing gym in am. Bedrooms and bathrooms all superior quality. All good in SA!

Neat older house that would sleep 10 people Wish there was a BBQ pit for grilling.

This place is an awesome place to stay for your vacation! The location is about 15 minutes from the airport, Six Flags, and Downtown/Riverwalk. The house is spacious with plently of rooms to give everyone their own space. The pool is one of the best I have seen at any property. AC and WiFi all worked well and the game room was awesome for the kids. I would highly recommend this place and stay here again!

I’m not sure what this house had more of - charm or space - but definitely had plenty of both. This house was an experience in itself. We loved it. 5 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms with more room than you’ll ever need to stretch out!! Hide and seek paradise! This was probably the best rental I’ve ever stayed in. It was also clean and had great amenities!! I will be back!!!!!

Very clean, comfortable, fun activities, gaming, feels secluded from neighbors. Love the whole vibe of the house. Enjoyed the selection of records to play. We would stay again.

We immediately fell in love with the homes history. There are so many rooms and hallways! Great for night time hide n seek! The convenience of all grocery stores and easy access to highways make this a prime spot!

It was a very spacious property both indoors & outside. We enjoyed the game tables and the privacy of the property. The only thing that we felt shorted was not having tv’s in all the bedrooms and the mattresses in the upstairs bedrooms were very stiff.
