Historic Birmingham Home with Hidden Rooms and Scavenger Hunt!

The hosts were very welcoming and quick to reply to our questions. This historic home has a lot of charm and character; our kids loved the scavenger hunt and secret rooms! Very comfortable for our group. There is a lot to do around town within a short drive.

Gorgeous house and perfect for our needs!

We had an excellent stay in this very interesting property. We had initial problems with the WiFi but the owner/manager was very responsive and made numerous follow up contacts to make sure everything was ok. We were very pleased with the property and hosts.

The house was perfect. All of our children & their families were here for our 50th wedding anniversary, 3 families stayed at the Glen Iris house. We’re only a few doors away, so children could walk back & forth. Ck in was very easy, kitchen met needs, space available was great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Delray! There was plenty of room for everyone, was in a quiet neighborhood , and had lots of quirky art and interesting spaces in the home. We loved the scavenger hunt!

This property is amazing but even more the hosts are amazing as well. During our stay for graduation we had a family emergency and the hosts reached out multiple times checking on us!

Perfect home to stay at if you need lots of space or have a multi-family stay planned. There is plenty of room in a comfortable setting! Close to many restaurants and shopping for convenience. I would highly recommend this lovely home for your next stay!

We were thrilled at the central location of this home. The historic nature of the home made it very special yet it was updated and very comfortable. It has many of the things you hope for when traveling like a spacious kitchen, plugs in bedrooms for charging electronics and full size bars of soap just to name a few. The scavenger hunt was a blast and we enjoyed it tremendously! We agreed we would 100% stay again at this property. Thank you for a great visit!

My family and I recently stayed at this beautiful home, and it exceeded all our expectations! The house was exactly as described—spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. We loved the scavenger hunt that was set up; it added an extra layer of fun and excitement for the kids (and the adults too!). The location was approximately 12mins fromProtective Stadium where we watched an awesome football game. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and provided all the information we needed for a smooth stay. We made so many wonderful memories here, and we can't wait to return for another visit. Highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a family-friendly getaway!

This stay was for our Duncan holiday. We had plenty of room for the 11 of us. The hidden rooms were fun. The neighborhood was perfect. Close to the Mcwane science center. Homewood Central Park wasn’t far either. Communication with the host was perfect. We will stay here again. Thank you to our host.

Super cool place.

Well kept and clean, only minutes away from RTJ courses and midtown.. only 3 full bathrooms and one 1/2 bath, not 4 full bathrooms.. low water pressure..

This house was perfect for our group. We had 6 couples and never felt Cramped. We will plan to stay here again very soon. I highly recommend this property. Oh and the hide a way rooms for the kids ( and adults) were great.

The children and teens immediately loved the house, as did I. We loved the treasure hunt, which was unique. The house was very spacious and looked exactly like the photos. The house was a short drive to local attractions. Mr. Brad was our hero, who helped us with minor issues. I would highly recommend the house and would stay there again.

This was such a great house to stay in. The scavenger hunt + hidden room kept the kids busy for about an hour which allowed for us to actually get situated. Nick and Sarah were especially attentive and quick with anything we needed for our stay. Would highly recommend this for large families and friend groups.

We were in the Birmingham area for a wedding and had 7 adults staying the weekend. This house was a great option for us since it has 6 bedrooms and 4 baths. We had plenty of room and a large living room to relax and spend time together at the end of the day. The house is very comfortable and very well equipped. The location is convenient to downtown, shopping, restaurants and other activities like Top Golf where we spent a couple of hours. The hosts were very attentive and checked in multiple times to be sure that everything was okay and to see if we needed anything. The house is from the 1920’s and was very interesting. The hosts provided a scavenger hunt taking us through the house. We had lots of fun solving the clues and finding the hidden room with ‘treasure’. This is a great house for a large group staying in the Birmingham area.
