Historic Belmont House built in 1820 in beautiful West Cork.

Our stay at Belmont House was beyond fantastic. We enjoyed the house and all the details put into it. The kitchen amenities were fantastic and the welcome hamper was much appreciated! The hosts were responsive and the check in was smooth. Would recommend!

Everything was great! My family had a wonderful time in this beautiful house.

The home is a beautiful 1821 home. The pictures on VRBO don’t show how large it is. It’s two floors with 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. Some are en suite. The grounds are large and very private with an ancient Cedar tree. The kitchen is modern with period accents. The separate drawing room and dining rooms are spacious and comfortable.

House was perfect! Wonderful hosts and well appointed house. Perfect location just outside Innishannon. If we come back to the area we will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful house, brilliantly equipped, lovely setting, very relaxed and helpful owners who have covered all the details. We had a fantastic stay - relaxing (including a fair bit of billiards and reading), seeing the sights of Cork, watching the local eagle try to nab the rabbits on the lawn, sitting up to a right royal dinner in the beautiful dining room, soaking in the beautiful bathtub and more. With it had been a week instead of three days.

Spectacular stay at Belmont House. The property is beautiful and in a great location to visit Cork, Kinsale and Blarney.The house is big with lovely finishes and everything you need. The property is beautiful and quiet.

Absolute Perfection! Our family loved our stay at Belmont House. There was plenty of space for our family of 9 adults to spread out and relax. The house is as beautiful in person as the pictures are on the website. Stephen had bread, butter, milk, eggs, sausage, juice, and even chocolate waiting for us upon arrival-- which was such a sweet surprise. My favorite part was drinking tea in the morning while overlooking the river-- the views from the house are just lovely. Being able to do laundry in the middle of our trip was extremely helpful too. It's an easy drive to Kinsale and there are grocery stores nearby as well as an adorable coffee shop called Wildflour right in town. Stephen is a very responsive host who answered all of our questions. Book this house for your next trip and you will be glad you did.

One of the nicest places I’ve stayed, it is a beautiful house and location. The house had everything we needed and more. Perfect for some time away with friends and family. Stephen is a great host allowed us to check in early. Definitely would stay here again!

Beautiful house and professionally renovated and decorated. Abundant space for 10 of us. Good location for day trips to many points of interest. After cramming into hotel rooms in Dublin and Galway, it was so nice to have this house with all the space, every room beautifully decorated, and comfortable bedrooms. We called it our Irish villa! Highly recommend!

We had the most amazing stay at the Belmont House. It was beyond all of our wildest expectations. A magnificent property, we felt we were transported into the most serene and magical location. I chose this as a spot to celebrate my retirement with my sister and three friends. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made! We took advantage of the beautiful view from the kitchen, the coziness of the living room, the relaxation of the outdoor patio, and the respite of each bedroom. Every room was impeccably kept, with fresh flowers to greet us. Every question I sent to the property manager was replied to with perfectly helpful information in an extremely timely manner. They thought of everything, including providing some kitchen staples upon our arrival—butter, eggs, orange juice, milk, sausages, and some snacks. We took advantage of the close proximity to Cork, Blarney Castle and Kinsale during our visit, loving each excursion. But loving even more the comfortable return to “home” as our evening destination, a welcomed conclusion to our days’ adventures. I have nothing but praise for this property and its owners and recommend it highly! (Groceries and gas close by.)

amazing Host, so accommodating and even made sure we had extra towels and everything needed for cold water swim. Great recommendations! The house is beautiful and so spacious and the views are incredible. Starts with a beautiful driveway and then you enter heaven. Great outdoor seating available too and lots of adorable little bunnies around the grass. Could not recommend this amazing property more. Already trying to organise a trip back!

We enjoyed our time at this house, such a beautiful home and host. The house was able to host 10 of us with ease. We stayed here and drive to cork, the beach, Blarney castle and some local towns. Perfect for what we needed. The house was clean and Stephen was a perfect host Thank you

We were met on arrival with a fabulous basket full of treats and luxury . Fresh milk and local produce to be found in our fridge.We had a lovely stay at Belmont House. The property is exactly as reflected in the photo's. The location is perfect.There is an amazing bakery near by which produced splendid sausage rolls and other bits and bob's.I would definitely recommend this property and will most likely return at some point in the future.Thank you to our lovely hosts.
