Stayed Sep 4, 2024The property was very clean! It is also very close to the distilleries. It had all the amenities we needed. The only issue was the one bathroom and the lack of a hallway resulting in going through the bedroom if the bathroom was being used. Needless to sssy we figured it out and would stay there afsin

Stayed Apr 9, 2021We absolutely adored this sweet little home. We were traveling with our kids, ages 4 and 7 and we were supposed to have 6 total with us and this house would have perfectly accomodated us all. The beds were comfy, the space was very clean, decorated well and was very peaceful and welcoming. You can tell this home was newly renovated as there were lots of brand new touches across the home. Two things to be mindful of when booking, the second bedroom is on the second floor, the stairs are rather steep so if you have trouble with stairs these are not ones you want to climb, however the bedroom is adorable and has a little living area you can watch tv at. Second, the house is in a great location, but the street is very busy and you can hear the loud cars pass by at times. My family and I would definitely book this place again.

Stayed Jun 10, 2026The cottage was perfect for the 3 of us. It was very clean, cosy & comfy. It was within short walking distance to historical sites, & restaurants. The hosts were friendly & easy to communicate with. They were quick to respond to a need we had & followed up after to confirm the need had been met. The kitchen was well organized & supplied w pantry for placing your own supplies, which held crock pots. Appliances were new & in good shape. There is large table for family style meals or board games. An easy to use stacked laundry is adjacent to the kitchen. There is a front porch swing & 2 rocking chairs & back deck w large table & shade tree. The beds comfy , the living room restful w lg tv for movie time. Highly recommend!

Stayed Jun 3, 2026We recently stayed here during our trip to KY as a stop after Louisville and before Lexington. The house is just as pictured and described. Very cute and comfortable. It was easy to find and the check in was very easy and uncomplicated. Not a lot of rules to check out, making that process smooth as well. The hosts thought of everything! Lots of dishes so you don't have to wash them after every meal. Very good nonstick pans and sharp knives. Spices, oil, and even bottles of water. Coffee included. Soaps, lots of towels, detergent, extra blankets. The placard on the side of the fridge had great recommendations for food and the Hadorn's donut bakery. The town is very cute and people are friendly! We found a lovely candy shop Barrel Pick Confections with the best chocolates and Modjeskas all hand made! Wish we could have stayed longer and we would love to come back another time!

Stayed Apr 23, 2026The house was clean, quaint and well appointed for guests. We visited Bardstown with another couple and I made the reservations for our group . Nicole was pleasant and graciously answered any and all questions before and during our stay. Appreciated the hospitality and suggestions for restaurants and local attractions. Check-out instructions were clear and concise. Thank you for sharing your home.

Stayed Mar 20, 2026The home was clean inside and as pictures shown. The outside was not. One of the reasons I chose this house was to grill out and enjoy the back seating area. It was unuseable sadly. Needs to be cleaned.

Stayed Mar 6, 2026Location was good for walking into town. The cottage was very neat, clean, supplied. The host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. The road can be a bit busy but it does quiet down in the evening. All in all, it was a very nice stay.

Stayed Jul 2, 2025Nice modernized cottage. Everything was as listed and very easy check-in with keypad on door. Walking distance to downtown Bardstown. No issues and plenty of amenities in the kitchen. Would sleep 4 comfortably, and possibly another person in the living room if you had to. Very nice. Only criticism would be the road is VERY busy with VERY fast-moving vehicles. Back into the driveway and watch the kiddos.

Stayed Jun 27, 2025This was a great little house within a few blocks of downtown Bardstown. House was clean, beds were nice and overall very accommodating. Having laundry was a huge perk as well. Host communicated well, check in/check out was easy. I would 10/10 recommend this property for anyone traveling to Bardstown.

Stayed Apr 25, 2025We found ourselves in a nice smaller home that was ideal for our short visit. Its great location made exploring the area incredibly convenient, allowing easy access to the town's historic sites, restaurants/bars, and distilleries. They have a great front porch that you can sip your bourbon and smell the mash cooking off by the nearby distillery. The cozy atmosphere of the home added to the overall comfort of the trip, making it a memorable experience in the heart of the Bourbon Capital of the World.

Stayed Mar 23, 2025Awesome communication from the host and very prompt! Perfect size for me and my husband. We did not use the upstairs bedroom; best for a teenager to use (in my opinion). The outdoor gas grill was a bonus! The road does get busy but it did not interfere with sleeping. There is a white noise machine for those who may need it. Bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Stayed Oct 7, 2024We enjoyed our short visit to visit family and explore Bardstown. The house is very comfortable and we easily found everything we needed during our stay. It was a short walk to Third Street and all the restaurants and shops there, and a quick drive to the distilleries and other places we wanted to go. The host provided clear communication and great advice to back into the driveway. The street can be busy when driving out but we didn’t have issues with noise in the house. This a was a great base for our trip.

Stayed Oct 2, 2024The communication with the host was top notch both via the app and in printed instructions posted on the fridge. The home was a great place for a base for visiting the distilleries. Yet the two best experiences were in the list of recommendations from the hosts: the Oscar Getz museum was very interesting and well worth the free price of admission; And plan on obtaining reservations for the Rickhouse because both the ambience and quality of food are excellent. Another recommendation for drinks and buying alcohol is the Evergreen. A lovely bar located in a liquor store for one stop drinking and buying. As for the house it is located on main road so the traffic can be heard going by but it quiets down at night and we didn’t have any trouble sleeping. It had everything we needed for our stay. Thanks Nicole
