Stayed Jun 25, 2026Bruce and Ann were great hosts! We made a trip to Tucson for a swim meet at the University of Arizona. The property was so close, it made it really convenient for our swimmer and the spectators. The house is darling, fully stocked and very comfortable beds. We appreciated the homemade cookies they left us too. we will absolutely be back and look to stay at this location.

Stayed Apr 15, 2026As with any property, you hope the listing matches the online description/photos. This was our experience with Casa Reina. Given that the property is 'hidden' by a tall privacy wall, it wasn't possible to see it from the street, but it was a great reveal once we opened the gate. This home had the adobe vibe, starting w the turquoise front door. A cluster of cacti occupied one corner of the front yard, which was shaded by a big tree. Once inside, the home's 1930s character was on display w a combo of hardwood and Saltilo tile flooring, plus area rugs. Tho the temps were in the mid 80s/low 90s and a few days in the low 100s, the inside temp stayed cool, likely to the old school construction (i.e. thick walls) and of course the A/C. We really enjoyed the back patio where we spent most of our outdoor time. It had both covered and open areas, plus high privacy walls. We were familiar w Tucson having visited 7 times, so we were a bit concerned that the location close to Broadway (one of the main roadways) would be noisy. But it was quiet, both when sitting on the back patio in the evening and sleeping. The place was clean, beds were comfy, the bedding and linens top shelf, the kitchen well-appointed and the hosts welcoming, even stocking the fridge w water, providing chips n salsa and baked cookies. Ann's love of art is evident in the LR. Make sure to bring a windshield shade; if you plan to turn E on Broadway, drive N to 8th or 7th to turn right on Campbell or it's a LONG wait!

Stayed Mar 19, 2026This was a perfect spot for our trip! The property was safe and clean and absolutely beautiful. Plenty of space! My husband and I traveled with his parents and we didn't feel cramped. It was a perfect blend of privacy and communal spaces. Close to everything (well, speaking as a Tucson-native, it's as close as anything is in Tucson lol) and in a safe neighborhood. The hosts were incredibly kind and communicative! We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or to recommend it to friends! It was absolutely perfect. Thanks, Ann and Bruce, for a marvelous stay!!

Stayed Feb 1, 2026Ann and Bruce are great hosts. They keep the house sparkling clean and welcome guests with homemade cookies and more. Casa Reina is our home away from home on our annual trip to Tucson. Ann is an artist and has carefully curated an inviting Southwest treasure. We enjoy our time there and hope you will too.

Stayed Feb 9, 2026The house was scrupulously clean, generously stocked (we really didn't need those three rolls of toilet paper we brought just in case and we really appreciated the water and sodas in the refrigerator), and so comfortable we felt at home the moment we walked in the door (and we loved the patio and the delightful decor in the living room). The kitchen had every amenity necessary. The neighborhood was convenient to everywhere we wanted to go and at the same time amazingly quiet. Ann and Bruce were quick to respond to any query. We're already talking about returning to Tucson to see the places we missed and we wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else. Thank you!

Stayed Jan 26, 2026The location was great! Our house made us cookies which was nice. We choose to stay at a VRBO so have the option of cooking. There were very little staples like seasonings, tin foil etc. There isn’t much storage in one of the bedrooms. We had to put our clothes in the drawer in the hallway. The smaller bathroom had no counter space to put any toiletries. These are all personal preferences. The backyard is beautiful and a nice space!

Stayed Nov 28, 2025I would like to give this 20 stars. Everything about the home was just so perfect and comfortable. The beds were extremely nice and all of the linens were high-end. Our hosts were so accommodating and left us snacks and the best cookies ever. The landscaping around the house is such a joy to walk through. It amazed us that even though we were in the heart of things, the house was so quiet. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathrooms are beautiful!. The artwork in the home was so interesting. Given I am an artist, I enjoyed everything so much. I just felt like we were visiting family. The floor plan is perfect for two couples traveling together. The bedrooms are separated and feel very private. The living room furniture was very comfortable. I think I could go on and on, but hopefully you won't hesitate to book this place. The Casita in the garden is another gem.

Stayed May 14, 2025It was perfect. Close to the university, clean home, felt very safe. Ann and Bruce had some extras that we appreciated after travel, ie cold water in the fridge, homeade cookies, a bag of chips and jar of salsa. Our daughter graduated so we aren’t likely to go back, but I would highly recommend it.

Stayed May 3, 2025We all found that the beds were a little hard and the pebbled flooring in one of the bathrooms was uncomfortable for showering. Apart from that, and missing a dishwasher, it was a very nice property and very conveniently located in Tucson.

Stayed Apr 3, 2025A few of us came to visit a friend that lives in the area. We did a few searches and found Casa Reina, the pictures looked amazing but it’s even better in person. Such beautiful touches inside and out. Bruce and Ann had fresh baked cookies and plenty of snack and drinks upon arrival. The beds were comfortable, we all slept like babies. You are walking distance to the UA stadium and a little hike to some shopping but wasn’t bad in the beautiful weather we had. We have told our friends and family about your little gem. Thanks again! Kim and friends
