Historic 3-bedroom Cloverdale Home next to Playhouse

Nice historical home,( as described, accurate pictures) nice bedding, plenty of towels. The home was convenient walking distance to a few restaurants. Several step up and step downs through the kitchen and dining area. Well appointed/supplied kitchen. Two tables, one in the dining room ( seats 6) and one smaller one ( round seats 4) more open to the kitchen. The backyard fence needs some repair. ( I did not bring my small dog however, I would not have considered the backyard fence secure for small dogs because of some damage)

No smoke detector!!!Very dissatisfied after all the great reviews! It is a lovely older home in a great area. And the hot water faucet in the main bath has one temp—scalding. Two of us were scalded. The grout in the other shower was black and the tiles were not clean. The carpets were very grimy also. Didnt gel we could barefoot in the house. The host did communicate promptly and we did appreciate that.

Nicely arranged rooms. Bedrooms in a quieter part of the home than the living area. Great space for everyone,early risers could be comfortable without waking others. The den & living room provided plenty of seating, kitchen well appointed with the basics. Comfortable beds & nice baths. Enjoyed an afternoon in the quiet backyard. Scott was a quick answer with questions. Will definitely rent again

There are PROS to this rental: it is convenient to all of Montgomery, the price is reasonable, the host is very communicative, the A/C works great and it is well stocked for towels/linens/papertowels.There are CONS to this rental: it is quite old and in need of renovation, especially the bathrooms. There is a musty smell throughout the house which improves with running the A/C but is always there.

we spent 4 nights at this house and just loved it! There were 6 of us, 4 adults and 2 teens. lots of room, very clean, warm and quirky house that had everything we needed.

Cute neighborhood, 10 minutes to downtown and AFB. Plenty of space to spread out.

Great place, will definitely stay again, my three kids loved it, massage chair is fun.

This historic property was very well appointed for rest and relaxation and entertaining between wedding events. Roomy and spacious with three comfortable, quiet bedrooms, and three entertaining areas. Walking to first United Methodist Church Cloverdale was easy as was walking to 1616 house on South Perry for reception . the two massage chairs perfect ending. Lots of parking.

Wonderful older home with so many interesting keepsakes throughout--wish they could have told me some of their stories! Staying here felt like staying at a friend's home. Had everything we needed, host was great, neighborhood was quiet and near everything we could need.

This house was actually bigger than what we expected! We really enjoyed all the original historic character with some modern updates sprinkled around. The wall decor and board games were great. Every room had great blinds or curtains. The massage recliner was incredible! Plenty of smart tv’s to keep everyone entertained. The AC worked great , which we really appreciated experiencing AL in June! We would stay here again.

Four adults stayed 2 nights and we were very comfortable! We loved the massage chair. We did worry about the absence of smoke detectors.

We were in town for a wedding party, and although the house was convenient to our event, it was very dirty!

The property was just as described. It was spacious and had everything we needed for our brief stay. It was close to our downtown meetings and just around the corner from restaurants. We enjoyed our trip! Thanks for sharing your lovely house with us!

We had a group of my daughter's friends in town for an event. This house was perfectly located and the owner is very easy to work with. I have recommended it to many friends!
