This was far and away one of the nicest VRBO experiences we've had. The home was spotless, comfortable, and well equipped. We had a chance to meet Scott and he was welcoming in every way. We highly recommend this host to anyone visiting Sequim and look forward to staying here again.

Clean, comfortable and quietWasn’t crowded with Knick knacks (dust collectors)and owner did not have scented plugs in and other scented things around, which I really appreciate. Having asthma, those things impact my breathing. Host was helpful and provided useful info about the area. He also responded to questions quickly.

The house was fabulous. Everything was clean and welcoming. And we liked that it was only a block to the transit station where we could ride the bus free to Port Angeles for whale watching.Everyone we met in town was very friendly.

Our family of 4 (2 teens) stayed for 2 weeks so we could explore the area. The Craftsman is centrally located downtown Sequim, within walking distance to restaurants and shops. The location was great. The cottage had everything we needed: the kitchen was well stocked (and we appreciated the extras - coffee (!), spices and saran wrap/aluminum foil/parchment paper) the washer and dryer were put to good use after our hikes; and the puzzles, games and books were great for when boredom struck. We loved the front yard/patio area, even though we didn't get a chance to use it (perfect place for morning coffee or after dinner roasted marshmallows!). There was plenty of room for everyone. There was a book on the shelf (a picture of the Craftsman on the front) that we loved: pictures of the area, explanations of some quirky names (Chicken Coop Road, John Wayne Marina) and great general information about the area (ie. the lavender farms). Scott was very responsive to all of our questions and needs. Sequim was a great location for us to explore nearby Olympic National Park (hiking!!!!), Bremerton, Fort Townsend and the Hood canal, as well as Sequim's spit and Port Angeles. The time went by so fast we didn't have a chance to go over to Victoria or explore Whitby Island. If you get the chance, make reservations at the Alderwood Café (it’s a 2 minute walk). The meal we had was amazing. We had a really good time in the cottage.
