Stayed Aug 13, 2025We enjoyed our stay at the Shelbyville Vrbo. The home was very charming, and was situated perfectly between the Lexington and Louisville Bourbon Trails.Everything looked exactly like it did in the photos, and we would absolutely come back should we visit again.

Stayed Mar 28, 2025Super cute older brick home with amazing updates. This place was absolutely wonderful! It was clean, beautifully decorated, and well stocked with all of the essentials! The hosts are very responsive and check-in / check-out was easy. The house is within walking distance to a coffee shop, ice cream shoppe, restaurants and bars. Highly recommended and we would definitely stay again!

Stayed Mar 15, 2025Just my husband and I on an extended weekend to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We picked this area because of its proximity to the distilleries we wanted to visit. Very pleased with the property. Everything was updated, clean and spacious enough for us to have shared with another couple. We enjoyed playing shuffleboard and Sorry! Neighborhood felt safe and was relatively quiet. Beds were comfortable enough. The cocktail recipe with the Ale8 and bitters was a nice touch! Our only suggestion is to consider adding a whisk in the kitchen & an additional lamp in the corner behind the main door. We enjoyed our stay and the town of Shelbyville. Would stay here again if going to that portion of the bourbon trail! Oh and highly recommend Larrikin and Jeptha Creek distilleries!

Stayed Mar 23, 2025We stayed three nights and toured several distilleries in the area such as angel’s envy and buffalo trace. Our accommodations were exceptional. The home was well stocked, spacious enough for the four of us and the furnishings were comfortable and modern. The hosts were readily available for any issues or questions. Excellent place to stay!

Stayed Dec 11, 2024Everything about our getaway was perfect. We arrived to the house around 9 and the keyless entry was flawless. The house was exactly as the pictures described and was perfect for two couples. The decor of the home was nicely created and felt very homey. We spent most of our time on the Bourbon Trail and loved the location so we could get to where we were going in about 30 to 45 minutes. Buffalo Trace was a daily stop and was a 30 minute drive. We’d definitely recommend this home.

Stayed Nov 15, 2024We all loved the property and had more than enough space for 6 of us to relax after visiting distilleries. Having 2 kitchens and 2 living rooms was perfect when we needed some space or quiet, and there is a good sized tvs in each living room. The bathrooms and kitchens are nicely updated. We walked to dinner in downtown shelbyville - about 4-5 blocks. We would definitely stay there again.

Stayed Oct 17, 2024We enjoyed our stay at Erin & Cameron’s house. The set up was perfect for four couples. We had great location for the bourbon trail. The house was exactly as pictured. The speak easy door was very fun! The house fit our weekend theme well. The house was clean and well stocked. The hosts were very responsive when we had a question. Our only complaint was the pizza place behind the house was open late and was a little noisy.

Stayed Jul 25, 2024Our stay was fantastic. The house was full of surprises-- two full kitchens, a hidden door (pro tip, a good tug at the bottom might be needed if it's humid) and all the amenities from a pizza cutter to a shuffleboard. Our group had activities planned in both Louisville and Bardstown so being in the middle between those two places worked out well. Our group had a saying by the end of our stay Oh that's a mile away. And really, everything was. Great local restaurants, fast food (to grab your pre-bourbon tour sausage biscuit, of course), a large Kroger, an urgent care and an ER (yes, we used them). The owners of the house checked in regularly--they were available without being intrusive. A 5 star stay all the way around.

Stayed May 15, 2024The Oak is on the bottom floor of a 2 story STR. It was very clean, with a spacious and well-stocked kitchen and dining area. The living room was cozy as were the 2 bedrooms. This is a very old building and we could hear the people above us enjoying themselves when we were in the living room. This property is an easy walk to downtown and restaurants. It is also right next door to a pizza shop and convenience store. We did need to contact management over a few, small issues that were very quickly addressed and corrected.
