Stayed Mar 7, 2026The house is charming with high ceilings, a curtained front porch and a lovely small patio area in the back. It is a very walkable location to many places of interest. The kitchen and dining area are nicely open, although the dining area didn't look like the photos in the listing. We would have found it helpful to have a few more nstructions about where to find some things (microwave) and what to expect (there were instructions for the hot tub; the maintenance people were a surprise...but we finally didn't use it) and thought the kitchen could use a few more plates and bowls. One bed was quite comfortable while in the other bedroom the mattress was uncomfortably soft; the sofa bed in the back living area didn't work well/seemed broken and when extended had a significiant tilt so we didn't use it. There were only four of us so it wasn't a problem but thought comfortably sleeps six people was a bit of a stretch. Both bathrooms were very nice. Communication with the management company and owner was non-existent we asked one question that went unanswered and called with information about a regulatory notice from the City that was never acknowledged.

Stayed Jan 22, 2026Great house. It was exactly as described. It had all the cooking supplies needed, great water pressure and anything needed for a nice stay. Bonus, if you go to old coast ales, a brewery on the other side of the bridge, they have pre bought beers for their guests. It was a nice surprise and very thoughtful.

Stayed Dec 20, 2025Loved the property! The home is decorated and furnished beautifully and felt very welcoming. The hot tub was also great and felt relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Nice distance from downtown - near enough to walk but also far enough away to be quiet and away from the holiday crowds. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Stayed Dec 7, 2025The little pink hen house, was super comfortable, warm and inviting. You felt very relaxed about a 15 to 20 minute walk to historic downtown St Augustine. We ate out most of the time, however we had breakfast and some appetizers. Kitchen was fully equipped and super cute. Beds and pillows were very comfortable probably some of my best sleep. The hot tub was wonderful. Wish we would’ve used it more. Had planned on using the fire pit, but never quite got to it. Only complaint we had was tried to get a hold of the host Kristal M with two text messages and two phone calls and I never did get an answer. But we had a lovely time regardless would definitely stay again.

Stayed Jun 13, 2025The negatives: 1. New-build construction directly across street from house. Definitely not something host can control, but should be disclosed. Quiet hours are 10p-8a, however construction crew and the noises that follow began at 7:15am on a Saturday. 2. In communicating this to property management Tonia with Evolve, as a heads-up to them as many owners do not live near their rentals and truly it should be disclosed in property notes on listing as a courtesy to potential guests, I was responded to very rudely. Wasnt looking for a refund or anything, but was treated in such a way, I will avoid that management company in the future. 3. The construction crew and noises made the very inviting front porch unusable. 4. The neighborhood between the house and Lightner had some homeless sleeping in their cars by nightfall. However, we had no bad interactions with any of them - just be aware. The positives: The house is very comfortable, clean and provided all we needed. Great decor! We walked everywhere in the historic downtown area, so location was great. If you are planning a beach day, we recommend going to the Anastasia State Park access across the Lion Bridge .. only 8 for a carload, plenty of parking and not near as crowded. Had a lovely visit.

Stayed Jun 7, 2025We had a good experience. Perfect for two couples. House had everything you needed. The extra bathroom hot water on the shower is a little tricky. Just set handle to about the middle for hot water. I kept trying to go all the way over for hot water. Ac is cold! Kitchen has everything you need. Doors and locks worked great. Beds are comfortable.Plenty of blankets and towels. Construction across the street however little house is insulated pretty well. Didn’t really bother us. Amazon Alexa’s for music and plenty of tvs for local weather and news. Close proximity to St. George st. Approx .5 mile. We walked without issue. We would definitely stay again if we went back.

Stayed Dec 25, 2024This was our second year at the Pink Hen House for New Year's and the experience was all we hoped. The home is fully equipped, nicely decorated, very cozy and in a great location. Easy walk to downtown but in a quiet neighborhood. The host was was able to accommodate a last minute added night to the stay and the need to retrieve left behind items. This host went above and beyond. Highly recommend.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This cottage was beautiful & peaceful! My favorite part of St. Augustine's history is Martin Luther King marching on MLK street & I loved that we were so close to that street! I loved that it was just a short drive from so many great restaurants & activities but far enough that nothing disturbed us at night! The beds were so comfortable & the decorations were *chefs kiss*! Coffee was provided & I enjoyed a cup every morning! The porch was perfect for reading while enjoying my coffee! It was just overall a great vacation & we definitely picked the perfect place to stay! 😊

Stayed Sep 26, 2024Super cute and cozy home. Lots of love and care was taken with high end decor and amenities.Plenty of room for a family to enjoy and be comfortable. Adorable courtyard out back for outdoor dinning or relaxing in the clean Jacuzzi. As coffee lovers, the Keurig was nice, but wish there had been a coffee pot, just a personal preference. Would be excited to stay there again. Loved it!!

Stayed Aug 15, 2024Delightful stay at this charming two-bedroom, two-bath cottage in Saint Augustine. This historic home comes equipped with modern amenities, and is is in walking distance to downtown. The surrounding area is populated by plenty of people but it’s quiet and peaceful at night. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and furnished to offer optimal storage space. The backyard was darling and very private. Overall, this cottage was a perfect space for our trip, and I’d highly recommend it for two grown ups or even two couples without kids.

Stayed Aug 22, 2024This is an absolutely lovely home. Perfect for a girls weekend. Very clean and comfortable. Nicely furnished. Walking distance to downtown. I would absolutely stay here again. My only warning would be to anyone planning on arriving in a larger vehicle (Tahoe size or larger): parking could be a burger. This home does have a small driveway to park two vehicles (back to back) in. But the sides are very tight and you might have to back into the road to be able to open a door to get in/out. Also the entire street is lined with cars parked on the road. Both mornings when we went to leave I had to do a 5 point turn (in a Jeep Wrangler) to get out of driveway because of a car parked directly behind driveway. It was difficult but doable. In my F250 in would have been impossible. But the house itself is fabulous. Just plan on bringing a smaller vehicle.
