The location was perfect, close to the boardwalk and all the community amenities. We loved bouncing between the pools and Lake Michigan. The house was ideal for our family - all beds were very comfortable and it was well maintained. There were a few minor service issues that were expediently handled by the maintenance supervisor. My only suggestion might be for a countertop ice maker - the ice maker in the refrigerator couldnt keep up with basic needs of a large group.

Right across Lake Shore Dr from beach access to Lake Michigan, this allowed for easy trips back to house throughout the day - definitely did not need a golf cart. Many seating locations in the home made it easy to be together as a full group or as separate small groups. We took advantage of basketball courts, kayaks, and paddleboards available through Beachwalk.Property was precisely as described, both what was there and wasn't there.We enjoyed trips to New Buffalo, the local Zoo, the Dunes, the Sunset Cruise, and some local breweries. We also carried out Mexican and BBQ meals from local restaurants. Finally, we want to shout out Ryan & Dakota from Beachwalk for their outstanding customer service.

From the spacious floorplan with all the amenities to the beautiful lake views, this was one of our favorite houses we've stayed in at Beachwalk. I would describe it as a 3-bedroom house with 2 bonus rooms instead of 5-bedrooms but there was plenty of beds. We had 5 families and had planned a bedroom for each but that didn't work out but we made it work. The house was very well supplied except it did not have a blender and everyone knows you need a drink blender on vacation. The Beachwalk Resort had more improvements this year. The two young men at the activity center were so patient and helpful with our kids as well as the helpfulness and friendliness of the office staff were very much appreciated. Overall, we would give this house and Beachwalk Resort a top rating. We are grateful the Beachwalk staff recommended this house for our large family and hope to rent A Lil' Bit of Heaven again!

Both exceeded our expectations! Lil' bit of Heaven was even more beautiful and spacious than the pictures we saw, and the location was beyond perfect. We were able to see Lake Michigan from the balconies and watched many beautiful sunsets. The house is just a short walk to the boardwalk leading to the beach and an equally short walk to many other amenities we utilized such as the pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, coffee shop and Lake Kai where we fished and kayaked! I highly recommend Lil' bit of Heaven and Beachwalk Resort to anyone looking to take their family on a memorable vacation!

The house is well appointed and the kitchen stocked with all the necessary items. Beds and linens were very comfortable. We had several picture perfect beach days during our stay, the water was clear and all the kids, large and small, enjoyed the lake and the sand. The resort amenities, including the pool, were great to have so close to the house. I highly recommend Lil' bit of Heaven for a family gathering at Lake Michigan.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the sixth different house where we have vacationed in the Beachwalk neighborhood, and it is the best yet! We have a large extended family, and came with seven adults, five teens, and six pre-teens, and the house accommodated us very well for the week. Rooms and common areas are spacious so we never felt over-crowded. Plenty of eating areas, relaxing areas for games, activities, or “get quiet” spaces. Fairly new house, nice furnishings and appliances. Didn’t want to leave the house. The location was wonderful for us because we are beach lovers, and it is in the very front of Beachwalk, near the beach. Unlike some locations we have had, it wasn’t a major trek to go to the beach with golf carts and wagons and lunches packed. We were close enough to come and go. And we were still close to the tennis court and close enough to Lake Kai and the swimming pool. We would definitely choose this house in Beachwalk again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hello-We had a wonderful time. We go somewhere every summer with our three children and 10 grandchildren. This house was awesome. Location is perfect to beach and to pool and resort is wonderful. House was spotless and nice and cool! Our only criticism is that there were NO potholders in the house which seemed strange, no salt or pepper (no spices at all) and we would suggest getting King size beds, at least in the master.
