Hillside Hacienda - Relax in the Sangre de Christo Foothills -

This is a beautiful house. Everything was just as advertised. There was plenty of room for 4 couples and the outdoor space was lovely. We used the grill and cooked in the kitchen. The hosts have fully equipped the kitchen, so it was perfect!

We loved our stay at Hillside Hacienda. It was clean, spacious and I loved how everything was labeled and organized. Plus the location was perfect. I definitely recommend staying here.

Hillside Hacienda was a great place for our group of 10 people. Both floors have their own living- family entertainment rooms with large screen tv’s. Great views from the upper deck and plenty of seating outside at the lower level. The home has beautiful furniture and is decorated in true Santa Fe style with not only southwestern influences but also items from around the world. Everyone in our group loved this home.

The location was great. Close to Ski Santa Fe and downtown. Wonderful room space for a great family time. Fuse ball table was a plus for the kids. Family time around the outdoor gas fire pit was also nice. Special thank you to property manager. He was able to find items left at the house and went out of his way to get them back to us. Thanks again for a wonderful stay

House was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. It was so nice to have so many bedrooms and bathrooms for a large group. The hosts have definitely gone to great care to make the house comfortable and welcoming. Very convenient to drive into Santa Fe – just a few minutes outside of the main part of town. Beautiful hiking trails less than 2 miles away. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Home was very comfortable and clean. Everything was as described, comfortable beds and all rooms were well stocked. It’s a beautiful location just outside town.Hosts provided excellent information about nearby grocery stores, restaurants, etc. which was very helpful and much appreciated. Close to town, with plenty of wonderful options for shopping. The home is absolutely amazing, would love to return for another trip. Definitely visit the Meow Wolf museum.

We were very impressed. Our needs were met; it was easy to find; views from the house were great. Very nearby all sites we wanted to see in Santa Fe. I’d total recommend it. But the en suite bedroom and bathroom doorknobs on the lower level need some attending.

Friends in Santa Fe. I have used VRBO in the past many times, renting many houses. This was hands down, the nicest house I have ever rented. The rooms were spacious and very clean. This house had all the touches you would have in your own home. The bathrooms clean with plenty of towels, shampoos and soaps. The kitchen had any and all, kitchen supplies and utensils needed, juicers, cutting boards, spices, pots, pans and all size plates and dishes needed. The coffee bar was equipped with a very nice coffeepot and nespresso machine with coffee, sugar and even creamer if needed. Entertaining glasses of many kinds were included in the dining area. The multiple living rooms had comfirtable seating for all our guests with throw blankets and all. The outdoor fire pit was amazing and comfortable, as well as great outdoor seating. This was an amazing home that I would not hesitate to rent again. Thank you for an awesome place to stay.

Loved the house! The space, incredibly well-stocked and labeled kitchen supplies were first class! The 4 bathrooms were perfect for 8 ladies. Loved the fire pit and upstairs balcony for morning coffee. Short drive to downtown. Highly recommend!

Everything as advertised. Very quiet neighborhood. This house was a couple of steps above what we have stayed in the past. Excellent home for us to make day trips. Unfortunately I had altitude sickness and will not be able to return because of my age. Thanks for the friendly help and gift bag.

The bedrooms were comfortable and clean- perfect for our growing family.

This is the 2nd time my family has stayed here. Some ski and some do town activities. We love the property and hope to use it again. This time we had age ranges from 1.5 to 92 - 9 of us, plus 3 that slept at a separate property but hung out at the house some during the day. The downstairs is perfect for kids. The main level is easily accessible for less mobile people and no stairs need be used - my mom went downstairs once, and my grandmother never went downstairs. They do miss out on utilizing patios/fire pit in back, but there is a front porch and rear balcony on the main level.Easy access to hiking/national forest as well as town. Neighborhood is extremely quiet and nice. The house itself is just perfect - plenty of space, great kitchen set up and coffee bar.

This house is in a great location. Five minute drive to downtown, but felt like it was remote. The views are great and the house was very well appointed

This is a wonderful home. My wife’s first comment when we got there is she wa ted me to buy it as a second home. It is very well furnished and perfect location for my kids who were going skiing. I loved having two bedrooms on the ground upper level and lower level for my four kids. We truly enjoyed our time there and look forward to a return visit.

We had a great time at the hacienda! The property was perfect for our group of six adults and three small children. Everyone had their own very well-appointed private space, and the common areas were perfect for gathering in together. There were so many well curated amenities- great stuff for the kids (toys, pack and play, high chair, etc) a wonderful selection of books, bar ware, kitchen supplies, the list goes on. We had everything we needed and more! The location was quiet and private while still being very convenient to downtown. Paige was very responsive with questions/requests and there was ample information on the area and the intricacies of the house. Would definitely recommend this experience to anyone, but particularly a multigenerational group!

We stayed here over Christmas to visit with family who are local. The property was beautiful and well appointed, they even had a Christmas tree set up, which was great since we had young kids with us. It was very cozy and a great set up for spending quality time while also having plenty of space for folks to retreat to if desired. The wood burning fire place was a highlight. Great location as well. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely consider this property again in the future if available.

Over the past decade plus we have had the pleasure of staying in some very nice properties in our travels from coast to coast. Hillside Hacienda is definitely in the top 3 of our very favorite.This home is incredibly comfortable, organized, clean and thoughtfully appointed with furnishings and appliances. We felt right at home.Our guests ranged in age from 8 to 70 and everyone was pleased with their stay.As a bonus the view of the scenery was fantastic. Additionally, it was only a couple of miles from the city plaza and restaurants and less than that from all of the stores one might need.The bedroom and bathroom layout was perfect for multiple families to stay together and still maintain that necessary amount of privacy. I give my highest recommendation to Hillside Hacienda whenever you are going to Santa Fe.Thank you to our host for offering this lovely home for us to enjoy and create new family memories.

My friends and I came to celebrate an important birthday and attend some cooking classes. This house seemed to be out of town a ways but was actually an easy 5 minute drive to town. The view and privacy were so welcome! It’s beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We ate out a few nights but really preferred enjoying this cozy beautiful house. I called the manager for a minor problem and he was out within the hour. We all highly recommend this house.

Great location, fabulous house with all amenities. WE especially loved the Santa Fe feel to the house. Firepit was amazing.

We were a girlfriends group of 6 college friends (graduated in the 70’s). This wonderful house was perfect for us. Very clean, beds were comfy, beautifully decorated and the location was very private with just a short (less than 10 minutes) drive to Santa Fe Plaza area. The host was fantastic! We all agreed we would definitely stay here again and recommend to all our friends.

We were 5 senior gals on a girl’s trip and the house was absolutely perfect for us. The home had everything you could ask for, with a well stocked kitchen. The beds were all very comfortable and the towels were all very plush. The home was conveniently located to the Plaza, just a very short drive into town. 8 of us spent 4 wonderful days. The property is gorgeous. The 5 bedroom house has everything one could want. Probably the best stocked rental we ever had. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The property manager responded promptly when a smoke alarm battery needed to be replaced.

What an amazing site! Doesn't look that large when you first drive up to it, but once inside it opens up beautifully! Quiet neighborhood, plenty of space on the top (entrance) floor and below, the exterior in back is great for outdoor visiting around the gas firepit, the barbecue was exceptional. Nine adults, no issues. We all loved it, and highly recommend it to any large parties like ours.

Suburban, even rural feel within minutes of downtown. Plenty of bedrooms/baths.
