We had a wonderful stay! The house was very spacious with a perfect basement for the kids to play in with two extra bedrooms as well. The kitchen was big and worked well for our families. The driveway is a bit steep but totally manageable. We will hope to stay again.

The host was very quick to respond to any questions I had. The house was well supplied with kitchen ,& bathroom supplies, which was so nice, that way I didn't have to bring as much stuff.we came for my grandsons wedding, the house was clean and comfortable ( could use a couple more chairs in living room for guests to sit on) the pool and hot tub was a nice addition ,although to cold to use that week. Overall a great place to stay ! ( although the steep driveway made it really hard for the older people in out party-but that was disclosed in description.

Jessie was super responsive and everything was as indicated on listing. Kitchen was stocked well with enough dinnerware and cookware for our group of 13. Great neighborhood, nice and quiet. Situated on a cul de sac so felt very private and safe.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. We were attending a conference in nearby Shasta Lake, so being so busy, we really didn’t get to take full advantage of all the house’s amenities. We hope to return in the future so we can enjoy just sitting out on the deck relaxing. We have stayed in multiple vacation rentals throughout the years and this one has to be the most spacious and family-friendly that we have experienced. We had 7 adults and 2 young children in our group, and no one was ever in anyone else’s way. If the kids were using the downstairs game room, it was still easy for the adults upstairs to carry on conversations without being distracted. The host kept in close contact and responded quickly to any questions. We look forward to the possibility of staying here in the future.

Great Home, very close to Shasta Lake.

Our recent stay was a mixed bag. While the six rooms, numerous TVs, and location near Lake Shasta were all fine, they couldn't possibly make up for the general lack of cleanliness. The pool looked great in photos but was a sad, shallow disappointment in person.The real horrors, however, were found inside. We discovered bed bugs on multiple beds, resulting in one person in our group getting over 60 bites. We had to deal with ants in the kitchen, leftover ribs rotting in the oven, and even bugs in the coffee maker. It was beyond unpleasant—it was repulsive. The basement sink was clogged, a curtain was broken, and there were barely any utensils—five forks for a house that sleeps fourteen people is a joke for a property of this sizeThese issues completely ruined our trip. One of us even had to see a doctor because of the excessive bed bug bites.When we tried to address these serious issues with the host, they were completely unhelpful. Despite providing clear evidence of the bugs and bites, they refused a refund. They claimed a professional inspection found only plant material and that the bites were probably from mosquitos—an insulting and absurd excuse. We have asked for a copy of the professional report but have not yet received it. To top it all off, they even blamed us for the ants, which were present from the moment we arrived. We were forced to clean their mess and buy our own ant baits.I would never stay here again. This was a truly miserable experience.

The house was great for our huse Family and exactly what we were looking for.

The property was spectacular and worked perfect for our large family. We spent alot of time just in and around the pool. Was also a nice quiet Neighborhood and a really short drive to Whiskeytown lake for a day trip. Would definitely stay here again

Our large extended family had an amazing time at your home. We all felt like we had our own individual space but could also be together with the entire family as well. So happy that we opted to rent your house instead of getting hotel rooms. Your home was clean and had everything that we needed to feel comfortable for our weekend together.

My family are scattered all over the north state and Redding meet for a great midway meeting point for all of us. We enjoyed turtle Bay and fantastic fall weather in Redding. The house was perfect with lots to do for the kids and adults alike. Great communication with the host highly recommend this property.

Had a good time. Just stayed 1 night before going out on the Lake. Pool could use some freshening up, but did the job.

We had to quickly change from camping plans to renting a house to accommodate a family reunion. This house turned out to be the perfect place for our family to gather! We loved the game room, the pool, and there were so many bedrooms, it accommodated us all! Thanks so much for sharing your lovely home.

This house was the perfect place and perfect size for our family of 13 to meet. The bedrooms were spacious and comfy and well insulated. With two littles ones under 2 years old, noises were muffled and the babies slept well during naps and at night. The large kitchen was great for cooking meals. The oven did not work, but they plan to get it fixed prior to the next check in. The BBQ and stovetop came in handy. The game room was the best part! The perfect play area for kids (and adults). We really enjoyed our stay here and plan to return soon!
