Stayed Nov 28, 2025We stayed here for a weekend getaway with friends in Shenandoah, and overall it was a good experience. The house was very spacious and worked well for a group, and the location was convenient for the area. The place had everything we needed, and communication with the host was great and very responsive, which we appreciated.The property is a bit outdated, and the hot tub could have been cleaner. It was also quite cold when we arrived, which took a little while to warm up and get comfortable.We did have an unfortunate accident during our stay where a friend slipped and fell. Because of that experience, I’d strongly recommend purchasing the travel insurance rather than opting for the 5,000 security deposit, just for peace of mind.Overall, it’s a solid option for a group weekend, especially if you’re looking for space and a good location.

Stayed Aug 29, 2025Renter beware: there is no washer and dryer for guests to use. I missed that those icon pictures were absent from this listing. Otherwise, It was a good house in a great location. It seemed like it hadn’t been occupied in a while as there were many dead beetles by the sliding door and many dead and a few alive yellow jackets by the sliding door in the upstairs bedroom. I really wished that we would have had laundry in such a large house.
