House was nice, clean and comfotable. Gas fireplace was awesome.Drive is steep and would reccomend AWD or 4x4. Outside fireplace was great. Communication with Blue Ridge was excellent, very responsive and helpful.

We had a great week staying with our two dogs. Cabin was everything we expected and no surprises. Enjoyed seeing a few deer at the house and loved hearing the owl nearby. We visited Grandfather mountain and several waterfalls as well.

I will preface this review with an understanding that this is a loved family home, but it did not work well for our stay. The very steep and deeply rutted path from the parking area to the front door was difficult to navigate and not suited for anyone with mobility issues. The grill was problematic with only three burners working and those were rusted and in poor condition. The oven also had issues with sporadic heating and stove top burners didn’t work properly. I also question why anyone would decorate with bedroom end tables so large that you cannot fully open the closet door.

the cabin was clean. The kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials for cooking including a crockpot and wok pan. The grill was working but the burners under neath will need to be replaced soon as they are crusted and the flames were uneven. We had major issues with the driveway. It is steep narrow at the top with gullies and pot holes. Difficult to drive up and down a difficult to walk on with out risking a turned ankle. We enquired about the driveway before we booked and were told it was steep but were reassured that there would be no problem with it. It needs to be grades and regraveled.

The interior of the house was very nice and had a well-stocked kitchen with everything needed for meal prep. The house was very clean. I would give five stars, but the driveway was pretty treacherous. Heavy rains had caused ruts in the stone driveway that were deep and it's a very steep slope. The downstairs was under renovation, which was not an issue for us but we did not realize it when we booked our stay. The upper deck needs cleaning and the stain is peeling. Maintenance stuff that again, did not really affect our stay because we did not use the deck due to it being rainy. It's a beautiful home and very comfortable.

We had the beat time in this cabin. It was well stocked with pantry goods and the staff were very accommodating. We can’t wait to come back.

It was a wonderful place to stay. The cabin is only three years old and looks amazing. The basement floor is under construction so we couldn’t access it. It was very clean and has a beautiful view of the mountains. It’s over a mile up the mountain. The driveway is very steep so if we didn’t have a four wheel drive vehicle we wouldn’t have been able to get to the top entry. It snowed about three inches while we were there and that made it very slippery and the four wheel drive vehicles even slide going down the driveway. Highly recommend anyone renting this cabin to take a four wheel drive vehicle. We thoroughly enjoyed staying and we will definitely be back to stay again in the future. Our dogs enjoyed the snow also. Thanks for allowing us to take them along on our vacation.
