High Expectations | Epic Views, Spacious, Game Room

The house size and layout was wonderful. Had some problems with the fireplace, hot tub, and just general cleanliness. All issues were resolved promptly. Beds were very comfortable. We would stay again. Group of 9 for ski trip.

The house itself is great. Plenty of space for 16, comfortable beds and great location. For the price of this house we expected better amenities and service. Here are some of the issues: We were only provided two garbage bags, one halfway used roll of paper towels, two pods for the dishwasher, a tiny bottle of bad dish soap, no shampoo or conditioner, one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, no bedding for the couch bed, only one mixing bowl (had to use pots instead), the only large frying pan is in very bad shape, no glass plate in microwave, minimal coffee service and fire pit does not work. We went to grill our dinner on the first night and there was no propane. Called and got a foreign service informed him of issue. Sent a text that was never replied back to. The next day, talk to the local service and they assured me that a propane tank would be sent out. Nothing was ever sent out. The refrigerator and freezer were basically turned off when we got there. We had brought coolers of food up with us and had to keep them in our cooler until the fridge and freezer got to an acceptable temperature. The fridge never got cold. We had to put frozen water bottles in the fridge to keep it cold. I spoke with the local service about this and they never sent anyone out.Also, prior to our stay, Ruidoso experienced some major flooding. I sent four different messages and called three times to make sure that our house was not affected and still OK to come up. Never received a reply.

Lots of room for everyone that stayed. We enjoyed the huge balcony and each area of the home. The kids liked the hot tub and pool table. Definitely would stay again if going with a large party!

Pretty place in the mountains. Unique house. Comfortable. Beautiful view. They provided towels, linens, toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo, kitchen necessities - over and above what a lot of B&B’s provide. The only complaint I had was lack of communication on things that needed to be fixed. Exhaust fan in master bath, filtered water in kitchen, gas fire pit on porch. Property management said it was an owner issue but there was no access to contact owner. Pilot light was out everyday on the gas fire place and had to request maintenance every day to reset it.

What a beautiful home, we had a blast and would definitely come back!!!:)
