High End Beach House on Long Beach Island in exclusive Harvey Cedars

The house was wonderful and well equipped with all of my family's need for a great vacation!

We had a great week at Alex's house. The pool was perfect for the kids when it was too windy on the beach. The house is well equipped and well set up for a large family. Bed in the primary bedroom was very comfortable. Alex responds almost immediately when you text him. Overall, our vacation was an A+

This property’s location was excellent! Close to beach, restaurants, park, produce market, etc. Bikes and water gear were great. Easy to access property and owner contact was prompt. The pool was everyone’s favorite. The property is dated and mattresses are awful. The bed setup is awkward, so be sure to look at the details in the listing closely. Location made it all worthwhile.

Our extended family felt right at home from the start in this comfortable, well-located and appointed house. A pleasure to be able to both walk a short path to the beach and step out the door to the pool. And a short walk to the Bay Beach was a bonus for our two young grandsons. We loved the quiet and convenience for everything we needed to make our two weeks a pleasure. Plenty of beach chairs, toys, etc. to augment what we brought ourselves. Alex was friendly and easy to deal with, and it was nice to have had a neighbor available to check/clean the pool and be of service if needed (which it wasn’t). Other than some minor cleaning issues when we arrived and an imperfect bedroom layout (which in fairness we knew about when we rented), this is a fabulous beach house!

We spent a week here recently and had a great time. The owner Alex was a great point of contact and really attentive and easy to communicate with. He and his wife met us there on the first day and gave us a tour of the house. And when i texted for some food recommendations, or house questions, Alex responded right away! The house is a 2 minute walk to the beach and it has a nice pool. The kids spent more time in the pool than they did the ocean;) The ocean access is easy and you basically end up with a private section of beach all to yourself. The lifeguard stands are down the beach a bit, so swimming is easy and safe. The house is on a very quiet street, and we hardly heard or saw any of the neighbors the entire time. No loud parties to keep you up at night;) The house comes fully stocked with beach chairs and SUPs and surfboards and bikes and a basketball hoop, so that's cool. The house is well stocked with linens and towels. The kitchen is fully stocked for any type of cooking, including a really nice Weber BBQ just outside of the kitchen. The owners are definitely foodies;) Overall, the house itself is showing its age, and definitely needs some general updating and maintenance, hence my 4 star review. For the price, I would expect a house that feels more modern and luxurious. But what it lacks in luxury, it makes up for in location and beach access and the pool! It is definitely a great spot to spend a quiet week on the beach.

We have rented many properties in LBI (and other locations) as a family. This felt like staying with friends. We developed a rapport with the family from before booking, which I appreciated because it illustrated their care for their own space. Alex and his family were there to greet us upon check-in which added the human element of staying somewhere. The house was well-stocked, comfortable, and convenient to all the things we love about LBI.

lovely property, with an amazing location and pool. Five kids in the extended family, ages 6-16, all had a wonderful time. owner was incredibly kind and helpful through the entire rental and check in process. The beach and surrounding area was quiet (which was exactly what we were looking for), however the drive to busier areas with traditional vacation activities (mini golf , shopping, etc) was quick and easy. Highly recommend for families looking for some quality time with each other.

Location was great .. just a short stroll to the beach! The house comes complete with everything you could possibly need. Lots of toys to play with! Alex was great to work with!

We had a great week at this property. The location is wonderful, especially for a family with young kids. The walk to the beach is quick and the pool is a nice bonus. The house could use some overall updating and maintenance, but location makes up for it.
