Stayed Aug 14, 2025Our group had a wonderful stay at this place! The property itself was great for a quick trip up north and we enjoyed all of the games/activities throughout the house. Would stay here again and definitely recommend the property to anyone traveling to the Higgins Lake area!

Stayed Jun 28, 2025The cabin was amazing and had everything we could’ve needed. There were so many games and fun activities, fire pit, grill, and super close (walking distance) to Higgins Lake. We brought a pontoon and there were accommodations for the extra parking space we needed. The 4yo in our group was always occupied, lazing around and relaxing was so easy- inside and out. I couldn’t recommend this property more. We had a wonderful time.

Stayed Jun 15, 2025We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Barney’s Place! We had a few rainy days so we utilized the games in the garage game room - we had ping pong tournaments and foose ball tournaments. When the weather cleared up, we rode bikes, and played corn hole, ladder ball, checkers and Jenga. The fire pit was perfect and used every night for ambiance and making s’mores. There’s lots of rocking chairs on the back porch to relax on. It was the perfect place to stay!
