Higgins Lake - One Of A Kind Lakefront Lodge!

We had 10 adults and two children (under 3) and this property checked all our boxes for space, privacy, access to 'safe' swimming water and boat access. Truly a perfect spot for a large group that wants to hang together.

The house was as advertised. The living room was huge with a perfect view of the lake. Everything was in order when we arrived and checkout was simple. We would 100% come back again.

Kip and crew were exceptionally kind, and the house was in great condition.

Perfect vacation. Love Higgins Lake for over 70 years. Boating, kayaking, swimming, fishing, and more.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location of the house was perfect and the hosts were staying in other homes on the property. Kip and Mike were very friendly and helpful. They were quick to respond to any minor issues that came up.We had the perfect family 4th of July week. We spent much of our time outside in the shallow waters just a short walk from the large deck. It is a spacious property and we had plenty of room for our group.This was one of our favorite family trips ever.

We had a wonderful time and the house was perfect for three families with four kids. The kids loved the loft bedroom.

This house was perfect for 3 separate families and we appreciated the well stocked amenities in the house and 2 refrigerators for our food/drinks. The directions to get to the actual house threw us off since there are several homes sharing a driveway, but once we were in, it was fine. The hosts were very responsive and considerate. The home is a little older, but it’s right on the water with a nice beach for littles- I would definitely stay again.

Great location for a mini family reunion. Friendly hosts were always available, although we didn’t need much that wasn’t already provided. The house is fully equipped with just about everything, and has plenty of comfortable gathering areas inside and out. Right on the water with a little sandy beach, and nice, clean and firm gently sloping sand as you enter the lake. It was the perfect set-up for our family get-together.

Enough space for everyone to be comfortable. Best view. Awesome kitchen. Really can't be beat.

Our family had a great week at Higgins Lake. A magnificent big house, stocked perfectly made for a fantastic week. Owners were very friendly and cooperative to insure that we had no issues. Definitely will return to this home, and recommend it highly!

Had another great week at Higgins! Location is great and was very quiet and peaceful. Icemaker did not work but fortunately we were able to find ice at the nearby Dollar Store.

I'm not sure where to begin, we enjoyed everything about our stay at Higgins Lake Lodge! The shoreline was next level, our kids were able to safely play in the sand and splash in the water. Knee deep, crystal clear, could see perfectly to the bottom, no rocks or weeds. We decided to rent their pontoon boat which was perfect for getting out and exploring and fishing. Kayaks and sand toys were also available and thoroughly enjoyed. The cabin is huge, well furnished and cozy. We had visitors everyday and there was enough space for everybody to roam freely throughout the house/yard/property/shoreline without feeling crowded. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you may need to prepare food for large groups, multiple refrigerators, charcoal or propane grill, extra pots/serving dishes/plates/cups/silver wear/bar glasses/etc. We also really appreciated having access to stacks of beach towels, washer and dryer downstairs, pack n play for our infant, security gate for stairs, XS lifejackets, smokeless fire pit for s'mores on the patio, you name it, they have it!!! One final thing I'll say is that the vibe is right here, the energy in this space is chill, no overbearing property managers pestering us, no manual of dos and don'ts, the hosts are around if you have any questions or need anything. Incredible experience with our family and we would love to visit again. Thank you for sharing this family treasure with us.

This was the perfect house for a large group. The kitchen had everything we needed including two large refrigerators. The owners were great and very helpful. Thank you for sharing your house with us. We would definitely rent again!
